Here are some pictures of it after the Hulk's trans went in and the Icon shocks plus the NCQ CF rims

Weight after the changes - 3lBS 10oz

Need to finish the front drive shaft and put some new wires to the motors.
PLus still have some more alum hardware to add as well.

In the bottom pic I remove the spacer's for the outer cross brace as well.

1.25oz per side

How much knuckle weight are you running?

It seems to have a good forward bia's but we'll see once I get it wired back up.
It might even be too much

Looks good mang. I was wondering when this truck was gonna show up online.

Did the Hksta grand just drop right? Are you using any of the existing transmission holes to fit it or did you need to drill fresh holes or utilize an adapter plate?

**Edit** I see the adapter plate now.

3.1lbs:shock:

Yeah I was going to do a build tread earlier, but got so excited to build it I forgot to take pic's along the way

As for the trans
One hole on the driver side lined up then I used a CF plate to screw the other side down.
notched alittle hole in the skid for the head of the screw to sit in.
Then i screwed the plate down to the stock holes.

I did think about drilling new holes, But with the cf plate it gave me the couple mil I needed to move the trans forward, without interfering with the rod ends.

Yes sir 3lbs 10oz
I think when I finish with the alum hardware and acouple other tweaks it will be around 3.8lbs.

Enjoy the rig it looks really good... I couldn't be any happier with my SP rig.. good choice on the chassis.
Now you need some titanium negative space wheels.

Thanks Man
I agree I couldn't be happier with the SP
It just works
Not to many place's my xr will go that the SP won't "thumbsup"

HMM glue on rims there somemore weight lose

Looks like you could turn ur wheels into glue ons pretty easy. Some new standoffs or put spacers in, that are the width of ur beadlock.
Rig looks sweet with that tranny in! Not that the SP doesn't look sweet without it.. ;)
I guess its time to dig the one I have out an start building it..:what:

Good Call
Yes get building, you will love this chassis
it just works "thumbsup"

I look forward to seeing this beat run, your a damn good driver with the xr.

Thanks Bud
Hope you get your sporty together for this yr

Alittle up date.

Got the tranny issue's all figured out,
Thanks Dan (Hulksta)
This guy is awesome to deal with and take's care of his customer. "thumbsup"

If you need to know what the problem was goto Hulksta vendor page as he covers all of it.
He has fixed the problem and should be a issue from here on out "thumbsup"

Went from a 18t to a 20t pinion and made a big difference.

Might even try a 22t pinion as I think I could still use alittle more pop.

Hopefully my alum screw show up soon so I can finish replacing screws.

Also got some narrowed voodoo's coming as well

Just noticed your thread, I don't get much time to browse the forum these days:cry:

Looking at the pic in post #2 looking down.. it is so small, chassis builders need to take advantage of it and shrink the chassis down now:mrgreen:

Well guys
We had our first outdoor comp on sunday and my sucker punches first comp and well she did freaking awesome couldn't be happier on how the sucker punch preformed.

The old SP pulled out a first place. :) "thumbsup"
