BWD Mini Wedge Pro Chassis Kit...at long last!

Looking forward to reading the first Build Thread and seeing some snaps & video. It'll be a while before I get chance to work mine up to running.

I'm hoping to have the instructions posted up on my site tomorrow sometime...prolly late

Good news! I was just looking at the build instructions for the SSS-R and was hoping instructions for the mini wedge would be posted soon. Any chance of a new video of the mini wedge in action being posted on your site?
Cheers, Neil

Yes sir, I have the raw vids here...it's simply a matter of coming up with the time for editing

I like the new chassis I will have to get one for my next build. I gotta ask though what hub adaptors or extensions are those you have on the front of it in all the pics?

Build instructions have been posted  http://billet-works.com/build_instructions_-_mini_wedge I sincerely apologize for getting them posted up so late.

For those of you who ordered custom steering kits with your mini wedge chassis kits...it took me a few days longer than expected to get the steering kits wrapped up but your kits are done and shipping via USPS priority in the morning. We apologize for the delay, and we hope you like what we put together for you "thumbsup"

I screwed up on several of the first kits that went out . I sent them out without countersunk front upper link hardware and without countersinking the holes in the servo mount. Please contact me via email so we can get you fixed up ASAP! The only mod is to countersink the holes in the servo mount, and use 2x 3x16mm countersunk screws to connect the upper links to the servo mount.

All of our Mini Wedge kits sold but we have another batch well under way and they should be available for purchase and begin shipping by end of this week.

Cannot wait

Just read the build instructions and I'm really looking forward to receiving my chassis and getting on the rocks. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll be with me in time for me holiday on the rocks of the North Cornwall coast next week but at least I'll have something to look forward to upon my return.

Great build instructions, the chassis kit pieces look absolutely fantastic in the enlarged photos. Thanks Don "thumbsup"

So all I will need to swap this chassis onto a stock mini crawler is the 12 Traxxas Stampede rod ends? What servo arm is that in the pics and how are you attaching the body?

I believe you are correct. I use the Robitronics servo horns on my rigs. For body mounting, I connect the posts to the 2 cross members. An easy setup would be the Gunnar posts but I'm not sure if they work with 1/4" braces. You can also use spare shock holes for side posts.

By the way guys, here's why the steering kit took a lil extra time...I tossed the heated and bent delrin rods for a machined tie rod "thumbsup"

The longer one is for those who ordered modified alum knuckles with their kit. The shorter one is used for stock alum or plastic knuckles. You'll need an additional 4x stampede rod ends. I will try to get the part number and post it on the instructions.

How can I get just the steering kit? Also what extensions do you have on the front of it?

Extensions?

I will try to have the kits posted on the site and available for purchase in a bit.
Extensions or the hex hub adaptors what ever you want to call them. You have a set of red ones on the front of it in every pic I was curious as to where I can get some they look like what I am looking for.
