BWD Mini Wedge Pro Chassis Kit...at long last!

nice work don!!!

is it me or it the plate too close to the output?

Thanks Rick...not even a lil too close. The profile is actually smaller on the output side than the stock plate leavin around 1/8" of clearance between the plate and the output.

i got you.. as always its well thought out. "thumbsup"

hey, you know if it will clear with the traxxas marine yokes? i need that plate. the stocker is too flexy with the mongoose system.

What's the diameter of the marine yolk? There's a ton of room...but I will be glad to check.

i don't have a set of calipers to get an accurate measurement but they are roughly 10mm across.

very similar in size to an axial steel yoke. if that helps.

The motor plate doesn't even overhang the transmission step at all...in fact the step in the trans case is closer to the output than the motor plate.

i don't want to hijack your chassis thread with the motor plate discussion, so i'll continue on your motor plate thread..

Looks absolutely fantastic and worth the wait, I was beginning to fear the worst...

Just seen the updated website and the guide price of $80 seems excellent considering you are getting all that engineering and a $20 motor plate in the price - something the others don't offer.

Cannot wait for the release and video of it in action. Nice work.

Well now that that one's together I'll send you your old one back and beat on the new one for a while:lmao::lmao::roll:

After having his rig for a year now you want to send it back for his new one? You would think the Team Manager would get this one. :ror:

haha, I learned my lesson last time...no more loaner rigs. If I can get the 1/4" delrin in time, ya'll can just come down to the shop and we'll throw together a couple of kits "thumbsup"

I called in my order and was told they wll call back, never got the call so tomorrow I'll just go there and get it. "thumbsup"

OOOppppsss........I knew i was supposed to drive it like i stole so i did:roll:Steal it.....lmao

Here's a few pics with servo mounted...2 pics are of a Hitec 5245MG Digital Mini Servo mounted to the side, and the other is of a Hitec 7955TG mounted up in the center...I'll be running the 7955 for now.

I couldn't find any servo standoffs laying around here so I cut some.
