Here again some Pictures while crawling near Stockholm...

Unbelieveable what a high-traction surface in Stockholm is

Yes, this climb was possible :shock:

High concentration on the courses...:mrgreen::afro:

Jeffrey,

I was looking over pictures and noticed something....... JENS was running Losi axles and I think he was one of only a few people to make this gate....... Great job with Losi axles and great driving. Thought it would be appreciated here......

I enjoyed several nice talks with JENS and U-boat (Arve?) and I missed a look at his truck. I don't know if he made it down that gate in the picture but I don't think anyone else did. It was a tough course for everyone and most only got to gate 6 at most. I think he is coming past gate 8 or 9 in this picture

Wow:shock: That's awesome:shock:"thumbsup"

I just see ZZR in the background watching how a Losi is doing his job:lmao:

But I hope that I can come in 2 years to the worlds... When I'm an adult:roll::mrgreen:

In Germnay there is bad weather so it is time for maintaining...

I glued some new Würth hardened steal threads to the axlecases. Much stiffer again"thumbsup"

Then I recognized my rear axle had a lot of "play" (is this the right word?!) so I put 3 0.2mm shims on each side. No "play" anymore:mrgreen:"thumbsup"

Here a pic of my current setup, i lik how the rear upper links are faling towards the chassis. This setup feels pretty "spongy" and soft:

And yes, I'm runnig a combination of Traxxas BigBores in the rear and Axial SCX in the front :D

oh... And I can tell you that CCC skidplates are tough enough for the hard german rocks
My brother and me drove 100 courses in 8 weeks:shock::lmao:
... That's the result:

But I recognized that I often hang up with the rear axle so I cut a piece of PVC I had laying around:

In my opinion this solution helps a lot, NOW the rear axle slides over everything with just a bit throttle"thumbsup"

Let's present the Rockstar Crawler Parts Losi tranny!

It features:
-It uses 2 31t hardened steel pinions and a long 5mm titanium shaft
-It is only 8g heavier than the stock Losi tranny
-Made out of 2 thick carbon plates

Left= Mounted on a Rockstar EVO skidplate, right= only the tranny

Here a comparison pic between the stock Losi and the Rockstar Tranny:

Mounted in the CCC Boxer 2.2S Chassis:

I hope that my SDI propeller shafts arrive soon, then I can start driving again

Here a few more detail pictures of the tranny:

Weight (includes Motorwires and Sensorharness) :

Here the 2 different options on how to mount it:

The smallest usable pinion is a 14t one.

5mm CF rear upper Links:

=8g (both)

5mm Titanium rear upper links:

=22g (both)

Weight with 5mm CF Links but without body:

=1692g:mrgreen:

Weight with 5mm Ti Links but without body:

=1704g

I removed all the rear axle weight :)
I am running 75g per Knuckle in the front"thumbsup"

A few weeks ago I bought some SDI propeller shafts.
I run the up to date with the stock steel shafts. In my opinion way better than the LCC ones as they are pretty light, tough and very thin. I can recommend them to everybody"thumbsup"

Today I upgraded them with Ti shafts by chris (look to markusgabl's thread)...

Weight of the stock steel (16g):

Weight of the Ti shafts (8g)::shock:

Pictures of the shafts:
