[The Viper works well, i narrowed the front a bit. I couldnt get the shocks inboard with the stock shock mount. They are designed with for the XR10 axles. I really like the way it is handling. I hit 2 different gates yesterday that i had no business being as close to as i was. Driver error may have cost me a third place finish. Plus on the final i got into a hole and got frustrated, and ended up losing alot of time. My teammate Tydl rocked yesterday,3 points from first. "thumbsup"

If you read my thread, it will explains how i couldnt get the shocks to clear the berg axle cases. The shock mount that comes with the Viper is designed for the XR10 axles. So i narrowed the front of the chassis(9/16"), and mounted the shocks directly to the upper plates. Its really working well now, i am very pleased with it.

We went to the doc for his first visit today. All is good "thumbsup"

Well i couldnt just let the new carbon fiber chassis plates sit there,so i dove in. Got her running, Installed a second fxr. And the wantAsummit dual esc adapter, so i can use my DX3R"thumbsup" Still need to do some link adjustments. I also moved the rear shocks inside the chassis, right up against the upper plates. (yes DickyT i will add a support brace between the shocks) Tried again to use the stock Viper mount, too much binding for my taste.


Cf side plates"thumbsup" the 2 fxr'sWAS adapter Bec and receiver fit pretty low. Wiring still needs to be cleaned up,all in due time.

Rear shocks inboarded, sort of.
