bilinvic's Wraith Rock Crawler

How do you like the rock racers with the rock beasts? I have a new set of rb2 and have been locking at the ssd's for my wraith.
Also great looking rig!

I started reading your scx10.2 build. I'm really digging your builds. I believe that will be my next truck. I have a rtr wraith, a kit spawn , and a hocho now. Going to be a toss up between the scx and ascender.

Thanks for the nudge I went ahead and ordered a set of the rock racers from rpp.

ever thought about drilling holes in the eyes of your skull and using red LEDs for eyes? I've read through this multiple times to get ideas (especially on tires) Love the look and tank for the up to date lists and reviews.

I recently, 3 weeks ago, bought a wraith (also my first RC) recently painted my carterfab panels IRCP from dodge. Was the same color I had on my 1:1 '09 challenger R/T. Now that the hard part is done I am just waiting for parts to come in

Yes, that thought has occurred to me, but it probably won't happen! Congrats with your first Wraith, I'm sure it will bring you many hours of enjoyment.

Thanxs to PB for f**king us over, I have started the long process of re-hosting the photos using Flickr on this thread. I've done the last few pages so far; Can someone please confirm the pics are working correctly? (I can't repair the pics that people have "quoted" though.)

Likewise, looks great!

(PhotoF*ckit really pulled a dipsh*t move there...)

This thread is finally fixed with all it's photos...324 to be exact!!!

A few weeks ago I decided to convert my DMG Wraith back to a four-link configuration on the rear....trailing arms are gone. This rig was built way before the Bomber came out and now that I have a "proper" trailing arm rig in my fleet I wanted my Wraith back to it's original suspension set-up. I used Incision stainless steel links.

I took 'er out for a group run and was very happy with the performance out on the rocks....my original RC and still one of my favourites "thumbsup"

No, Jerry @ DMG (the Death Metal Garage) built it. It's called a Black Pearl Trailing Arm Shortback Stiffy kit!

So you no longer used the trailing arms? I thought the stuffy TA kit needed to use the trailing arms. Do you still get the articulation without them? I was ready to pull the plug on that set up

I would definitely pull the trigger on a stiffy kit with trailing arms. I'm just the kind of person that can't leave well enough alone.

Ok, now for my stupid question of the day what is a MMP?

When you had the TA's in what did you use for the rear upper arms?

I believe I am going to build one from scratch just because... I am new and have never done it before.
I have read this entire thread and want to congratulate you on terrific work!! "thumbsup"

If I recall correctly you were not happy with the center skid because it hung up to easy. If you had it to do all over again, what skid would you use?
