bilinvic's Wraith Rock Crawler

It's been about six months since I've taken my DMG Wraith out for a crawling session and the first with the new rims and rubber.

I was very happy with the performance today and the MT/R tires worked extremely well. At the top of the mountain, my sensor wire was not working and I had to drive it all the way back down with crappy, stuttering low end throttle! When I got home I found two wires somehow pulled out of the connector at the ESC. Spare sensor wire put in and all is good.

I also found that the Holmes Hobby HV500 servo snapped yet another center gear pin. Very frustrating but I replaced the pin with a 1/16 titanium drill bit cut to length and hopefully that will last a long time!

Short video showing some tire wrap on a very steep rock face.

That's a really cool video, I could watch tiress at the limits of adhesion all day!

(funny dust trail in the back of your 1:1, too...)

Your Wraith looks very scale when coated with dirt.

Hang up and Drive

I have not seen anything on this one in a while. I got mine all put together then struggled on the dual tranny then lost time. Tons of new things in boxes… sad I know
