bilinvic's Gmade GS02 BOM

I spent a couple hours out with the BOM today with a few buddies...performance was outstanding and still not one transmission click since I shimmed the gears. This thing crawled some killer lines and withstood a beating with a few cringe-worthy rolls and tumbles!

Quite honestly, I like them both. The Revolver probably has more bottom end torque and is very smooth with the SW4 ESC. I'm a fan of BL sensored motors and it's nice to have something a little different to break things up a bit! The outrunner noise isn't as bad as loud as videos depict but it's definitely different and takes some getting used to.

Time to try out a Reef's RC Triple 555!

The only reason is because the motor leads off of the Revolver were short and the leads from the slate are long.

Another impressive session out with the GS02 BOM yesterday. Although mine is far from stock, the technical rock crawling that this rig accomplished was simply sensational. I am so happy with my BOM and BTW, not one transmission click with the bearing shims added in the trans....and I drove 'er pretty hard. The only thing I discovered when I got home is that I bent the tie-rod, everything else was perfect. This is my new favourite go-to rig from my collection! "thumbsup"

I had an order from Junfac arrive today, including the stainless steel steering link set. These will definitely be stronger than the stock aluminum steering links and adds a bit of weight up front. Hopefully no more bent tie rod for my BOM.

The stock drag link and tie-rod weight 12g (.40oz) and the SS link set weighs in at 34g (1.20oz).

I also have the soft rear shock springs now to see how I like them.

Nice! I bought a few bits myself. I got the sway bar (for the cantilever setup), skid guard, shock tower brace, and the 324mm links. I think I figured out a way to mod it to use the longer links while still keeping the cantilever setup, but I'm going to run it stock first. Just haven't had a chance to take it out yet.

I also purchased the skid guard, but it's for another rig. If you figure out extending the wheelbase using the cantilever suspension....please let me know.

It'll work I think. I guess I'll give it a try and post it up.

The skid guard I purchased for this rig, because I like the black. I bought 3 silver ones made for the SCX10.2 off eBay for much cheaper, but they didn't arrive in time for me to test the fit before buying the GMADE one. Well... they all fit. Next time I can just buy the silver ones and spray them black. I just put one of the guards on my SCX10.2

Good to hear that you like this rig so much. And it certainly has the durability if it only bent a tie-rod. I may have to get one.

What chassis is under the red Power Wagon with the wooden bed? Do you have anymore photos? And is that build on this site or anywhere else on the internet?

Are you running any extra weight in the wheels ? Or just the knuckle weights ?

Just knuckle weights....internal rotating weight inside the tires is just bad!!! lol

I would certainly recommend a GS02 BOM.
The red Power Wagon has a 100% custom swivel frame and is one of the coolest rigs I have seen in a long time. He posts pics up on FB Power Wagon Nation from time to time...I'm not sure if he has a build thread.
