bilinvic's DMG IFS B1B Bomber Build

The blue looks awesome. Nice touch with the rod ends. I see you've already got the front end assembled. Make sure you red loctite the two screws that hold the outputs into the spool. They will come loose if you don't then it's a tedious tear down again. I learned this the hard way.

Thanxs for the advice...I did use Loctite for those locker pins. Those are RPM rod ends, a little more beef to them compared to the Traxxas versions.

I'm curious of what the DMG IFS kit is gonna cost. I'm liking the idea of a IFS Bomber!! I may have to build a second one, who knows???

Really liking the Blue in this. "thumbsup""thumbsup" I was going to do the same RPM ball ends and look forward to you giving the thumbs up if they hold up or not due to RMP being more "flexy". Can't wait to see more.

The RPM link ends are very good, been using them a while (black)....but with that being said, I prefer the link ends to be the weak link rather than the titanium link snapping.

RPM rod ends, short and long dont flex and are a ton beefier then jato/revo rod ends. If you break jato/revo, upgrade to RPM for sure. Plus they make all different colors for you rainbow freaks.:flipoff:

I'm excited for you. Your first actual build post will probably crash the site. :ror:

Bil very impressive work on ur rigs but i still love ur lil truck better

LIFE IS GOOD

I anticipate having the B1B kit by Wednesday next week at the latest; takes a little longer getting the goods up to Canada.

In the meantime, I have the driver's ready:

Awesome parts and workmanship DMG, I am thoroughly enjoying this build. I will get more into the details later, but I just wanted to get some mock-up pics posted.

Yes, the P-L SC front shocks. I'm not sure if I will be using them yet, I'm simply assembling to get everything where it should be and then I will really focus on each section to get it exactly how I think it should be.

Cool. I can't wait to get my DMG shock tower tomorrow. I'm really hoping I can get a 4 inch shock to work up front. Looks great so far Bil. The Bomber chassis just looks so damn good with an IFS.
