That thought did cross my mind, yes. But also, I think that since there are fewer pins to search for traction, the pins that are there, really need to get fully broken in.

Update!
Got these installed on vp wraith chubs, probably try out non 8* too in the near future

Front end and steering all done too, had to move the servo up on some temp hollow ball spacers, burned a few packs fri night
Truck works really well, still needs a little tuning and tire break in, but with a club winter series comp today it's trial by fire
