Bay City or Tri Citys MI

rebuilt

Well I rebuilt the axles and the transmission. They sound a lot better except for one thing I forgot. I need to pick ups some oil for the bearings. The insides didn't look to bad. I could see on the rear axle that some water had gotten in and that was it. I'll have pick up some oil and then I can finish putting everything back together. I think I'll paint the frame while everything is apart and also need to finish the rear end and a front bumper still.

I hope everyone has a merry xmas.

Jay! We went out and ran the river today! there was a shit load of people out there. I didnt ride the quad. took the sled out for a spin but theres not enough snow for my long track.

Merry Xmas

Well I had Christmas with my family and Daughter today. I got a mini heli from my sister. Lots of fun until I hit a wall and lost a small piece. Will have to fix it because it isn't as stable without the part. My sister and I usually don't get each other gifts but she thought I needed some fun after this sh$tty year. Bigger surprise is that my mom bought me two new batteries for my crawler. Things are looking up.

Merry Xmas all and hope your holidays treat you well.

Christmas went well for all. THis morning I decided to put the 27t can motor back into the truck to see if it would help in the snow. Boy did it ever! its just blasting through the stuff now. Will have to swap back to the 27t for the 8th though :)

Everyone have a great holiday weekend!!

I had an idea. If we started a new club in Frankenmuth here's what we would call it.

Frankenmuth
Hobby
Rock
Crawlers

Then we could make a pictures of a rock crawler crawling over a large chicken dinner. Now remember this is just a working idea.

lol wow jumping the gun here arnt we?

I was in last weekend but Aaron wasn't there. Going to try and talk to him after the holidays. Dan and I had fun crawling on the little pile and spent some time out in the rocks outside. Just the right amount of snow where you could still crawl through it.

popped the 27t motor in the truck and had a blast in the snow but need to put the 65t back in for the 8th.

Talked to Arron and he made it sound like he was not real excited to add to the pile in the shop:x and said he would probably set it up in the basement. Needless to say if we want a local crawl spot this winter we need to put a bit of pressure on Arron or nuthing will happen:evil:. Im willing to help as well as add some logs I got but I dont have any rock. Needless to say Arron is not going to take the lead on this. 8)

As for Larrys I have a large suburban with 3 rows of bench seats. It only gets 13mpg:shock: but if we had 4-6 guys going it would be the best way to go. If its just me and arctic jeff we will just take my wifes vw as the gas savings would make sense.
SO if you wanna go to larrys let me know and we can take the burban;-). Id like to see if we can get 4-6 guys together. Tons of room for guys and stuff. No smoking in the truck though "thumbsup"

Let me know

8th

I'm still in for the 8th. I ended up getting the 72 chevy body. I got it hooked up and love the look. I'll post some pics later tonight hopefully.
