Rig looks Killer ... roof rack was a really good addition ... gives it a better stance ... I Cannot believe we got those bundles back in 22, I really need to get building. Cant wait to see some shots outside and hear how it does out on the rocks. No doubt it looks capable!!! although the pictures you always take on the scale garage are just great and get lost on the details ... thanks for sharing and inspiring to tinker.

Such a nice build!! Those light shots look great. And you and I both need rigs on the rocks that haven't seen any yet.

This is a great looking rig buddy, I’m sure it will be great on the rocks

Thanks Speedy! Yeah, these Builders Bundle kits were a hell of a deal back then. I really wish VP would sell these again.

Thanks Goro! I hear ya! I still have a couple builds that really need to see some first time wheel time.

That's bad ass!

Thanks Jato!"thumbsup"

This. This rig right here may be my new favorite! Well, second behind my VP VRD Carbon for fun and capability!

FINALLY, got a chance to drive this out on the rocks! I can't believe I delayed this first drive for so long!

Took this to RC River Cliff Trails here in Ohio last weekend. It was an absolute blast to drive. For having 80mm shocks and not very much flex, this thing will eat the rocks and spit them out! I was worried that the none angled skid on the Rock Pirates RC Interceptor chassis would be a hang up point. Not really. It did great and the F10 portal axles help solve that problem.

This rig is so smooth to drive and just floats over the rocks. This has the VFD Twin in it which has the insanely high OD drive gearing. In my other rigs with the VFD Twin, I don't used the OD because it is too much for trailing and light rock climbing. I decided to try the OD out in this rig. Wow, what a difference it makes in here. It was fun to watch the front tires pull the rig up and over all of the obstacles I threw at it!

It is a fun rig to drive and I'm hoping to put it head-to-head up against my VRD Carbon soon to see how it compares.

Here's a short I threw up on the Tube. I'm hoping to get more vids up of it later.
