I have tubes of grade 0 petroluem based grease, but that'll only work/be safe on bully or berg (metal) axles.

Anyone know where I can buy a tube or single cartridge of synthetic grease NLGI grade 0? Amsoil has the grade 0 synthetic but I have to buy a 35 pound container...34.5 pounds too much for me!! Worst case, I'll just buy the grade 1 synthetic that they do sell, but i wanted it as soft as possible without it actually being a liquid (ie grade 00 or grade 000).

FYI...
I want to stuff grease into my CR01 axles to waterproof it (and also protect the metal gearing and bearings). The synthetics that I see in the local hardware stores (ie home depot, lowes, OSH, ACE) are all NLGI grade 2. Grade 2 is too thick.

Oh and yes I did search, but everything that I found suggests greases that are grade 2.

Thanks in advance

i use grey permatex anti-seize in the grey plastic jar with the brush in the cap from the auto parts store....i just replaced the alum parts in my DNA dig with there steel upgrade kit and the alum gears i have for the axial tranny showed no signs of any wear with this stuff....slicker then runny eggs and sticks to anything it comes into contact with, plus i had to use brake cleaner to get it off the plastic tranny housing..........bob
