Axial Yeti - Critical Dimensions, Parts compatibility, Gearing etc

They refer to the SLW sizes from Vanquish. I ended up wit Proline rims on now (glued tires) and the 225 fit on the front with the 725 on the back. Been many more upgrades since last post as well :)

to help you choosing your gearing depending on motor KV, 2S or 3S, pinion/spur, t-case, bevel and tire OD

AXIAL 56T Spur Plastic GENUINE PART AXI31027

Hi guys,
Found this axial part number AXI31027, cheap plastic spur in 56T, it's a part for the SCX10.
Usually when you are searching for the 56T spur, you'll will find the metal one which quite expensive.

fits great !

Anyone know what the maximum motor length without modifying the battery tray is? I saw 67mm here, but I've read 68mm elsewhere. I've got a spare 4168 2250kv hobbywing motor I was planning to use.

I'm aware that there are some issues w/ the Vanquish hubs/carriers rubbing on the stock Yeti rims. Does this problem exist w/ the Trophy Truck as well? I ordered the Vanquish stuff a while back and I've neglected to put them on, contemplating returning them, but if they work perfectly on the TT then I'll just throw them on there.

Anyone have any feedback on the Vanquish stuff on the TT?

Thanks for the info gbean, if that is what it is set at it would explain why I have not hit it yet as I've never run my 2s below 6.8v. I was beginning to wonder if it was turned on.

On my rig i found that if you try and mount the ax31160 68t spur gear inside the INTEGY C26124 Billet machined spur gear cover, you will have to clearance the housing for the gear.

Integy C26115 Billet machined gerbox case set fit beautifully, but i did have to drill out the casing for the hi/low shift shaft, The place to drill was machined almost all the way through so it was easy.

Integy C26116 billet machined steering bell crank and Integy C26113 billet machined steering rack both fit beautifully, but they do seem to limit the steering travel. I intend to machine mine to allow more travel.

The stock steering bell crank measured 9.13g
the Integy C26116 bell crank measured 15.31g
the stock steering rack measured 5.6g
the Integy steering rack measured 10.46g

KC Hilites Z-E0059 fits across the top of the body on the front of the top. Good bright light, I run mine at 7.32V and its great for those late night fun runs.

quick question, looking to get a new pinion for a pro4hd, Rpp sells mod.08 and mod 1 32p pinions with 5mm shaft which do I need?

Ok guys, thought the rear was bombproof.
Vanquish ar60 housing and truss
Strc lockouts and diff cover
Axial hd gears i think vp gear braces

Anyway the strc lockouts are wiggling loose and scres keep backing off. Just add locktite? The lockoits wiggle even when screws are tight though.

Anybody else have this happen? Thanks.

Are there any specific preferred brands of pinions (aside from Axial ones), that work best? I'm looking for 18T and 19T. Was looking at the Robinson Racing 32P pinions.

Vanquish housings deserve Vanquish clamping lockouts.
Then try a dab of blue loctite.

While installing my xt shocks today, i decided to just pit a drop of gorilla glue on all 4 lockout screws. Hopefully that holds until i can get some vp clamping lockouts and new uh, un bent axle shafts.

Hi guys I'm new to rc and forum. I have a question about the hd bevel gears is it alright to run overdrive in front and underwrite in rear?
