Rig-Less newbie checking in. Well, not new to RC but new to crawling.

Been in and out of RC cars since the mid 90's, but never did crawling. I had an original Bruiser several years ago, but sold it because I was afraid to break it back when they were collectors items and coudn't get parts. I've also had a Clodbuster and an original Juggernaut. Other than those and some T and E Maxxes most of my RC experience has been racing 1/10th electric and 1/8 nitro. Sold everything a while back.

Starting over with nothing. Hope to get a G6 soon. Then the next phase of my addiction will begin!

Greetings all! I've been a member for a few years but haven't been active.

I have a Tamiya Toyota Hilux that I built back in about 1983. I built it to be as close to my actual Toyota truck as possible.

I carried it around the US, and some of the world (I'm retired Air Force) but never ran it much.

Today I have a 64 IH Scout sitting in the driveway and I'm thinking of building a Scout using the Tamiya chassis. I have a Proline Ambush body, actually two, with and without the top. I'd like to build it to look as much like my 1:1 as possible buuut ... my Scout has the short cab.

I don't know whether to cut down the 'full top' body or try to build up something on the 'no top' one. I'm going to need help with paint and wheels and tires to get closer to the original look. I'm sure it's all here. I just need to dig in and find it.

New member but been visiting Rcc for a little while. Lots of great information. Helped me a lot in building my scx10 and mods for my losi mico crawlers.

I guess I should visit this page first.
My 16 yr old son and I just got into the hobby recently with a used rtr Wraith & a new rtr PS Wraith. We are already planning a crawl course in the tree line come spring.

Hello All,

Been into RCs for 18 years. Haven't done much in the last 4 years though. Seen a video on rock crawling and thats all it took to spark a new interest. Just purchased a Axial Wrangler G6 to begin with. The equipment and accessories has come a long way. Looking forward to tuning and setting this rig up to get the most out of it. Will be checking out past post to see what works best.

Have a nice day!

New to crawlers... Ive been into RC since the early 1990s. Got out of it ten years ago. I cannot believe how much it has changed. Im hooked again and ready to learn more.

Vehicles....
Clodbuster
USA1
5 BlackFoots
Tamiya F-150
and many other outdated but fun RCs

I guess I missed this thread the first time I posted. I am new to the rccrawler and still a noob in the hobby. I started about 9 months ago. I live in East Tennessee. I have a Twin Hammers that I have set up for trail crawling, but I have reached the limits of its performance capabilities as a crawler. I guess it is time for a Wraith or SCX10 or something. Yesterday and today, I did my first crawling in the snow. Oh yeah.

Greetings to all 8)
I'm here from Italy, I'm 42 and I enjoy to use rc models since '90 ... my experience is focalized with electric power models 1/10 scale for race (Buggy 2WD, 4WD, Turing, Minichassis and Formula).
One year ago I've bought a TF2 for me and an SCX10 Dingo for my son.
We love the scaler :ror:

I'm here for finding friends and info in this fantastic hobby "thumbsup"

Howdy from Houston. Recently was handed an older AX10, got it running and added some paint. My kiddo is going to love it. I will be adding an SCX10 Jeep to the fleet in the near future. I have an 08' JK that I rock crawl in and hope that the Axial will allow me to get my fix in between wheeling trips.

Welcome to the forum, have you tried looking for a hardbody instead of just lexan? Unfortunately I don't recall seeing one either.

Hey fellow crawlers, I'm a boon to this site but not to the 1:1 rock crawling world. This site is great and full of helpful info, every question I have searched I found the answer so thanks to you out bbw there. I am Jeremy from Texas, looking for fellow crawlers around the Abilene area. I am running a redcat rs 10xt w integy tube frame and other mods.

Hello,
I used to be into 4x4s and got tired working on them and driving a rolling junk yard. So I give it up for choppers, but quit being excited about that when all the hipsters gave there fixed gears and skateboards for them. So I pretty much stuck with bicycles and brazilian jiu-jitsu, until my brother gave me his broken RS10XT. I fixed it up and it reignited my love of rock crawling and now pretty addicted.
