MN summer comp series #3

Our next comp is just 2 weeks off. We need to get it listed on the calendar.
Does anyone have an objection to holding comp #3 in Taylors Falls??
At least untill we find a location as good. We'll be running totally different courses/lines, so it will never be the same.

Post up your idea's for a different location. Otherwise tonight I will be posting the next comp on the calendar.

Personally I thought it was a kick@ss area, and the comp went off very well for only our second comp.

I like the idea. But Can we start sooner as my sister will be here that weekend from out of state. I'm going to try to get her and the family to come with to cheeck things out. As my step father is interested in building or buying a rig. Also it is a long haul up there for me and I wont have a lot of time to spend up there.

Also my step father will be coming on here to check things out and become a member of RCCrawler.

I also want to thank every one for the good tips and help on my rig. I wouldn't of been able to do what I did yesterday if it was not for you. So thank you all. It means so mutch to me to do well in some thing like this as I have not done well in so many other things in life.

Thank you soo mutch.

Chris, congratulations on your 1st place :)
Like I've said in a prevous post, to me, thats what this club is all about. Making new friends, getting and exchanging idea's, etc.
Glad to hear your step dad is interested, we welcome him aboard.

Since no one has posted any objection to the comp #3 being held at Taylors, and we want it on the RCC calendar. I'm going to be posting and listing that tonight.

The comp pic's and results are posted in the comp section.

Mn Gumby, if you want help in locking that clod or any mods? you'll find alot about them here. Also, any club member running a clod I'm sure would be glad to help. Glad you made it!

Taylors comp souvenirs

For anyone that may be interested in a souvenir of Sundays Taylors comp? I have put some of the comp pic's on coffee mugs, caps, mouse pads, buttons, magnets, coasters, and a few other things. check to see if your rig made it?
And order away
As soon as I get the club logo sized, that will be offered in T-shirts, and all else listed. All club logo sales profits will go back into the club.
All items can be found in the link here:

hey guys I just found your forum im for superior you know next to Duluth and i tlt rig RBX frame your typical 2.2 crawler and i love to go crawl There are so places to crawl around here ive barely scarched the surface. I belong to a rc racing club up here check us out at LSRCC.com but anyways I showed off my rig at a couple of our races and everyone loved it so expect to see a couple more crawlers poping up from around here a look forward to getting a chance to go to one of your comps.

Welcome aboard Silverdirt. Scout out a nice place for a comp up your way, and post some pic's. We're always looking for cool new places to hold our comps.
Keep an eye on this thread for info on our comps and club news.

Welcome SilverDirt. Glad to see you post up. We've talked about going up to the Duluth area, but would like to know where to go before we make the journey. If you could post some pics of some spots that'd be great. You should also post some pics of your rig.

The total results are now posted on our site. I added some color to the page to differentiate the classes and to brighten the page up. Hope no one is offended by the colors-I only have so many to choose from.

Hey Etype, did you get any pics from the last comp? I know you had your camera with. If you did, post 'em up so I can add them to our website.

Works for me, kinda gay but oh well I'm color blind anyway :flipoff:

Might as well add the next comp on there too ??

Anyone up for any bashing this weekend??

10700 views on this thread :) How many now on the club website?? And.... Could you put the link up to the club T-shirts on the club site? I can get a banner too.

I was to lazy to take many picture at the last comp, I did get a few. But not many. Most of them are just of the first few 2.2 trucks on the first course.
