Actually I plan on being there probably between 8 and 9 to help make sure things go smoothly, help plan out gates/stages, etc.

Does anyone have a cooler they could bring? That way we can keep all of our drinks on ice and near the coarse to help keep cool.

Yeah, you can ride with me. You're right, ideally I'd like to leave here by 7:00-7:30. You can use my spot in my garage. Is 9Guy9 coming? If so he can ride too if he can make it by that time.

Nice to see you post up Partsman. I think we met your son a few weeks back in Mankato. We're having our tech at 10 am, but because of the heat the sooner we start the sooner we can get out of the heat. I hope you can make it... you're not too far away from there.

Finished painting the body around 8 tonight. And just snapped pictures at around 9:30... it was dark outside so the pictures look a bit off. I did not feel like dragging out the flash, so I just left the shutter open for 30 seconds. Note the yellow street light glare off the front of the truck

And I had my sister paint a small demon skull on the doors. After that I laid down some gun metal gray spray paint.

Now I just need to build another saddle pack for the Jugg and start charging batterys. I plan on leaving around 9:30 or sooner.

I picked up some gatoraid for me and my friend today.

There really is not a place we can setup a tent at this place. We have the parking lot, which seems to always be pretty busy. Then its all rock from there, no flat spots near the parking lot other then walking paths and gated roads for the state trucks to use. Well you seen it before

Wow, what a suprise to awake to a thundershower. Nothing at all in the forecast for rain. Oh well, don't let it discourage anyone, the storm warning is only untill 7:00 am. I'm wishing I would have finished loading the trailer last night though. See you all there!!!!

Yeah, just looks like some isolated storms that are breaking up. In fact it looks like the last of it is passing Taylor's falls right now. Shocked the hell out of me when I woke up and looked out the window, but it's not gonna last.

Just to let anybody know, I'm not going to be there today. It's not worth being miserable in the heat so I can run my crawlers around. I can wait for a nicer/more comfortable (heII, even safer) day.

So, as some of you may know, my camera has been 'acting up' for the past couple weeks. It's going into Sony for some warranty service next week to have that taken care of. We had taken some photos with it when we were down in Mankato, but at the time there was no way for me to get those pics off the MS to the computer (so I thought). I was messing around a bit with my computer today and after closer inspection, what I thought was a SD card reader turns out to be a MS reader as well.
The pics that we took in Mankato did come out, and I was able to get them onto my computer.
So here's a sampling of some of those pics. (Chris, I know you were hoping that I didn't loose them.)
