Hey Happy Holidays to you as well "thumbsup"

Practice course is nice that should keep you out of trouble this winter. Good video and soundtrack to.
But you loose me on the mud thing I hate cleaning mud from my trucks it gets into every thing. I'm kind of a Sally about mud and I don't understand the water thing either I'm planning on never waterproofing any of my rigs.
I'm a member of the Edina Model Yacht Club and I don't get the subs cause when they are submerged you can't see them. So what's that all about bring your boat to the pond and then it disappears?

I have not been since I got into RC crawling trucks and my granddaughter used to go and Captain my boat but she lost interest when she hit her teenage years. I have a scale fishing trawler the "Autumn Dell" she's not big but she's nice. My granddaughter and I used to go on thurs nights then she out grew the boat pond. I have now have a younger grandson who's old enough now for the pond. I will be back out on thursday nights my new sidekick Captain Peyton this summer. I got bored with boats just by myself. I only live a 1/2 mile from Centennial Lakes What kind of boat do you have scale or speed?

I'm kinda glad you didn't say subs. You must have got started after I stopped going, I'm hopping to go more it's a great evening thing to do after dinner. I like the mellow boating I'm not into the big crowd stuff parade of boats or lighthouse night even though the "Autumn Dell" is I'm well lit.

I have it all. sail, scale and speed.

happy holidays :)

Finally got out and did a bit of snow wheeling with the jeep today. Just went out on a lake and took a few pics.

i took the torsion out with the rock claws on it into my driveway with 2-3 inches of snow on the ground. i had unlocked both diffs in order to manuver inside the house, so it became a 2 wheel wonder when i tried to climb a snowbank. i think i will need to re-lock both diffs and get some paddles to crawl on snow banks, or make some snow chains, which would probably be cheaper. i might be able to start construction of the gopher because it looks like my dad will be getting the broken carbide tap out of the shock mount hole on the chassis, and i got the other parts i needed to build it for christmas and birthday which included a fat rock vertical servo mount, some link mounts, and some jato rod ends.

Stormin...the snow isn't too hard on your gear. Snow isn't like water...you are NOT submerging you electronics. Your servo should be fine as is. The ESC is the main worry. I wrap my goodies in Balloons. Go to the party store and buy some M to L size balloons and stretch the mouth piece large enough to stuff in the ESC. The wires will now stick out the mouth piece and all is good to go. Best part of running in the snow is ANYTHING for dirt on your rig is now cleaned off."thumbsup"

I got a rig ready for this snowdrags if you ladies wanna run 'em. I got an SW2 all rigged up with a Novak 5800 brushless. If Troy shows with that Novak 4.5 I sold him I got a Mamba Max 7700 setup if I need to pull out the big iron.

Hey BB, thanks for the schooling "thumbsup" I was just giving Jeremy some $%^#.
Have you run a couple of packs threw your new Jeep? I would love one but I've been to good to myself lately not completely trusting Santa. I'll have to lay low for a couple of weeks. Storm

I run Hitec 5645 servos and the box says they are watertight. Have any of you guys used these and know if they are actually safe to get wet? I dont want to test it and end up having to buy a new servo.
