Cut up some RCA cable for your window trim. Works a treat.

I did. Now the TV's in the house don't work and the wife is out in the shed with me....I'm kidding of course. I'm not dumb ya know. I smart enough to know that when the TV remote batteries die, I can just take them out of the smoke detectors...

Funny how different words mean different things...



There were so many distractions last night, it was hard to stay focused.
But I made three more windshields.
Why?
Because I hated the first two...



I cut a line along the bottom of where the windshield will go. That gives it somewhere to register, and hopefully somewhere to glue.

I took imthatguy's advice, found these old speakers. Clipped the wires, and donated the speakers to the "shop."
Removed the center conductors from the insulation, and now I have some good looking window gasket.

I also added a fuel filler neck and cap.
This old girl isn't going to stay white....I need to get out to the store and get the "perfect" color...

Today, I prolly won't make any progress at all, as one of our crawlers is stopping by with the new Cross RC kit.
Naturally, my curiosity is piqued....

The PG4L is mostly built.
Painted, and curing.
More work needs to be done to that big thing, but in the meantime...
I was able to accomplish a little work on the Dudge...

So the PG4L is near completion...



It's Friggin' huge...

Then we did this....Ascender on top of an SCX...no more body posts...



Baby blue, white top, Pearl white sides...

In the meantime, I managed to find a second to squirt some paint on the ol Dudge...




Still needs a bit more weathering...



Mirrors and handles added...



Still need to add the "mirror" to the mirror.
Well, that was a redundant statement.
Painted the grill, mirrors, and handles.
Somehow, I think I like these tires and wheels better???

Next, detail the grill, trim the bed, make a tailgate, some weathering, a "quasi" interior, and someplace to hide that doggone battery...
I think I got it all figured out...

Made a little progress today.
Experimented with some weathering wash. The home made kind from India Ink.
I was trying to not go overboard, but I think more could be done...

Made grill inserts and a hood badge.




I also made a place to hide the battery....




It's not done, but I think you know what it is gonna be...




All done for tonite....

Maybe tomorrow I'll mount the electronics, cut a hole for the battery leads...dash...who knows???

Nice. I'm just using what's on hand. No idea how long it'll last, or if I shoud "top coat" it...

Truck came out great. We used to have a this style dodge truck growing up. Tank was a good idea to cover up battery. That wheel and tire combo works.

Anyone can have a tool box. I thought Diesel Tank fit an ol Dudge farm truck better anyway.



Anyone know what that Green Body Filler goop is called?

I've been using automotive Glazing Putty, but I'd like to find something better/easier/faster...

I don't mind leaving the "DUDGE" on the front.

It's 3D printed, and "close" enough for me.

I guess this could be trimmed as an Adventurer?

I don't know what's supposed to be on the fender, lol.
There are almost no good pics of the sides.

I know in some years/trims it's just numbers on the side.
