First episode was last week...

Its just about the same as last season, dont think they will start on the bike for a couple weeks. It is good to see them getting along better because I think we all agree it was a bit sad to see such family dysfunction going on.

Now if they could actually build stuff and not buy/bolt it on."thumbsup"

They also had the entire meeting between Jr and Sr uncut. 2 hours long. It's in my DVR but I haven't watched it.

Yeah...they need to get a little more with the times. The whole 6 figure yuppy "choppers" are just lame. I appreciate the art & when they actually fab parts...the skill but the end products just aren't practical & really pretty silly.

But I'm glad they're getting along. I don't watch the show myself anymore but it was sad to see such anger between father & son.

Lost interest a few years ago. Not likely I'll find it again this year.

Just once I'd like to see a reality show that's not a study in abnormal psychology

Normal people aren't fun to watch and/or talk about after watching.

I happened to be in Rapid City SD about a month ago during the Sturgis rally, we went to check it out for a couple hours and there were a lot of really cool bike mixed in with the stock stuff and bolt on crowd. They were having a bagger contest and there were probably 10 really nice baggers I could tell that some seriously talented builders had many many hours into each one of them and they were not just off the shelf parts. There was one that was all black and had a turbo on it, it was a sick bike for sure. I should have taken some pics but we went right after we landed after waking up at 3am to go to the airport and spending 6 hours traveling.

I also saw some OCC bikes and Paul JR bikes and just like I had heard in the past the workmanship was sub par up close. Dont get me wrong there are some talented guys in both shops but you can just see these things are meant to be promotional items that look good on TV, in an add on paper, or from 10+ feet away. Some of the welds were horrible and were also TIG welds, if I welded them I would have been ashamed enough to grind that sucker to hide my lack of skill.

the show was cool when it first came out..but i wouldnt really want to ride most of the bikes and thats the litmus test for me..most are unrideable for any duration

Jesse James>American Chopper.

No bullshit builds from that guy.

I ended up watching all but the last 20 minutes of the show where he desided to learn blacksmithing then built the bike with that water cooled Harley V-Twin based midget race car motor...........of course, never saw how that bike ended up looking.
