I posted last year trying to find anyone local for some crawling. Unfortunately we had a death in our family that rocked us hard the past year and I was unable to follow up.
As always things improve over time so.......cmon...who wants to have some fun and craw.
yah I know it is winter but we live here...cold...snow...slett...freezing rain...and that is just what we get in May.
Seriously though I am going to be fiddling with some 1/8 scale crawlers...Redcat...maybe try an Exceed Mad Torque....just looking for fun times. I used to race comp and while it was fun...I just like to bash and find places to and people to have a good time and laugh.
So I know you closet crawlers are out there tryimng to satisfy your days with PS3 and XBOX 360 but that will never cut it. Video games suck...get out and feel the real deal.....get off the couch..grab your pistol grip and be the man ( or women) you knew you were.!!
Plus I am driving my wife nuts complaining there is no one to play with. Shoot I am 49 and after nearly 50 years of living ...all my friends are as boring as they come.
So don't make me play with myself...no one wants to see that!!
O.K....less the humor .....I am looking to see who is around...i don't care what crawler you run....it is all about fun ...and having a good laugh!!
Email me direct at sthughey@gmail.com
Also...I have a small custom T shirt side project and am looking to print some custom crawler shirts. I can print shirts with your custom crawelr on it. For now just light colored shirts..no black.

I'm in Brunswick, but travel a lot and crawl all over the place, i'm waiting for my lipo's to peak right now then headed to check out a new spot in Freeport. I keep trying to find more people and places to crawl with/at.

Cool....I am starting to get back into it.....have a Redcat 1/8 super rockslide...for fun.
Looking at building atleast one 1/10 scale too.
I have no problems doin some traveling either as weather permits. I think the key is to try and get enough people to stick with it so they have people to get out with.
I have been into RC for 30 years off and on and I only get out when there is no one around. Kinda boring by yourself....and my wife, bless her heart, just can't get into it.

i work in porter. its a perfect place to crawl. how far from porter, keezer falls?

You are about 50 miles from me...not bad on a nice spring summer or fall day though!. I like the Keezer Falls area..my wife and drive up that way and then on through Effingham NH when we feel like a nice drive on a weekend.

I'm down near Biddeford. I haven't scouted out any good areas to crawl at in the area but I'm sure there are some. Freeport wouldn't be too far to go, either.

I live in Waterboro. I'm just starting out though.
I don't have a crawler yet because haven't decided what I want to get. But I'm working on it :)

I used to live in Waterboro a few years back...in Arrowhead.

When you get one lets go crawling..not sure where but finding where is half the fun.

You're just a few minutes from me. I've been wanting to find the spot at Biddeford pool.

Has anyone tried some of the areas in the huge park there in the Biddeford Pool area.

I just thought of that. My other obsession is relic hunting..well metal detecting as most would think of it....anyway we used to hunt that park ALOT over the years back when silver coins were abundant. Not so much now...but there are alot of large granite ledge peaks and outcroppings in there as well as some small quarry digs.

That park is basically the whole top of that hill which in itself is a huge granite thrust.
Man I gotta find something to crawl this SUper Rockclisde doesn't even have a scratch on it yet...just sitting here all shiny....what a waste
