Anyone else experiencing this issue? On my samsung phone many times when I'm on RCC and I click on a sub-forum link my browser expands to an ad that I can't close. I can't go back either and eventually I get the notification my ap is froze and to restart. This only happens on the RCC site and it doesn't happen with RCC on my samsung tablet.

Very annoying. I know ads are part of life but this problem started happening about 1-2 months ago.

Same. I come to the site on my phone, and usually the first thing I hit is New Posts to catch up. A full size ad takes over the screen. It can be closed, there's a small X in the upper right - sometimes it's hard to see. However, after closing it resubmits the page, and triggers the 60 second delay between searches.

I've gotten around it by opening any forum link on the page which triggers the ad - then close the ad and then clicking New Posts....it's an annoyance, but a work around.

Only happens on my Android phone, my Android table never gets the ad.

Might help to go to settings and try "View Desktop Site" though I've never tried it.

Same here, but mine doesn't freeze. Ive noticed if i click on anything and the ad pops up, then i can use the new.posts button without waiting another 60 seconds

I mostly use the TapaTalk app, but I haven't had issues using chrome beta for Android on RCC recently

If there is a fix I'd like to try it. I do see the little x to close the ads sometimes but it is not responsive. And since I can't see anything else on the screen all I can do is hit the back button on the phone until it asks me if I want to restart the browser.

I started using Brave browser for this exact reason. I can't have an ad blocker on the phone using Chrome but Brave has it included. It got rid of the ads at the top and bottom and also the popover ad when you click the first link.
