Thanks to you guys here and the other on Reddit I couldn't hold out any longer. I went to the LHS to get the TRX4-M. The wife went with me and while we were there she spotted the FMS FX24 K5 and decided she need one. So you guessed it we came home with both.

The K5 was a little bouncy out of the box, actually it was pretty bouncy more so than a SCX24 but adding oil to the shocks tamed it right down. I used the included O-rings and some 10w shock oil. Put just a dab of diff lube in the hole for the small O-rings on the bottom also put a little lube on the rod before I reinstalled it. Wasn't real impressed with the Losi plug on the battery but that is an easy fix, I'll be putting an XT30 on it.

Wow, very nice they both look great too! Good job adding oil to the FX24 shocks, that's a must do, looking forward to seeing them on the rocks!

Nice!! A couple of really good looking trucks there. The small scale truck market is blowin' up with a bunch of great options.
