719 Scale RC 4x4 Thread/Trail Runs/Rigs etc..

Well the Sawback is gone to new owner...:| granted it's still in Colorado and will be in good hands.

I have been on this scale wagon for a little bit...hence this thread. I was not a big fan of the huge 2.2 rigs ie Wraiths etc...but after having something that crawls good (EB Wraith) and going to something (tf2/d90) that doesn't do so hot in the rock crawling area I felt there was variety void in my arsenal of toys. Now we have a problem...scale rock crawler/ultra4 rig hmmm?

I know the SoCo Crawler guys are getting into the g6, ultra4/koh style of running an after watching KOH Backdoor Challenge I was hooked on having a scale version of a rig like that."thumbsup"

I ended up with a sick Matzilla Chassis along with some beefcake drivetrain parts and some scale goodness from the trade...I'll post pics later cause I'm trying to personalize it to my liking.

Guess I'll have to fund The Crawl Space's "new shop" .....silly toy trucks lol.
 
And for scale trucks there is such a thing as too much flex and shocks need oil! Cant wait to throw in the universal shafts on sunday and see how much better my rig will drive ive since limited my flex to about half
 
If we only got the usuals going tomorrow, y'all can meet at my house or something and we can take one car if I can get some pitch for gas or whatever haha opinions? Ideas?

Well guys, looks like I won't be making this one :( . I got a old friend back in town from trashcanastan , and we are hanging out Sunday and getting some badly needed work done on my other hobby (tabletop warhammer 40k). But on a good note, was doing some testing in Palmer Park today (Same trail I met Crawlerado on) and managed to lose my snorkel, and a whole mud flap (I'm losing scale points before I start!). Although I found a GREAT set-up using the flashpoint tires and a mild lift, but still need to shave some aluminum from the front body mounts. Also, I need to figure out if these shocks even use oil, since they don't have a 'cap'...
