719 Scale RC 4x4 Thread/Trail Runs/Rigs etc..

Awesome day in my book!!!!!! Hohum.. Heading to pickup my daughter from summer school camp. Driving through the neighborhood I spot a little red rc truck off in the distance and getting closer I see it's by the trashcan on the sidewalk. I instantly think ehhh some cheap radio shack monster truck that's all broke lol. I keep driving and a hundred feet later I'm turning around thinking might as well check it and make sure. I pull up real quick and take a quick glance and I see Tamiya...so I knock on door and ask the lady if it's getting tossed out and she said "oh yeah my husband's done with that darn thing" I ask if I could take it and she said "sure help yourself". I giggle picking the truck up and putting it in my car.

I think it sat outside overnight and got rained on a few times...oh well lol.

After a little compressed air and Windex

This thing is a giant compared to the others lol.

I pulled all the outdated / stock electronics and installed a spare esc and rx just for giggles. It needs a better servo and trans gears (hence trashcan) but it still moves and steers.

Awesome time! Me and Cody both finished the day and night stages without a hitch. Well, Cody had a output gear fiasco "again" after he got that fixed he was ready to finish the day stage and fly through the night run. Some of the Soco Crawlers showed up (Tony,George, and CK) had a good time BS'ing with them while doing some side fun runs. Parker and Rivas threw a really good show with it being moved so soon to the date. The Crawl Space was out in full blown storefront status with pretty much any goodie you'd want or need at a G6....they even had ghosts ;-)

Anthony Rivas was really impressed with the d90 "trophy" so you might see it on his pages...Parker "borrowed" the d90 and mog for a PullPal shoot. Had a few good talks with Rivas about ideas and builds...very cool guy. I brought a bridge just for poops and they ended up using it in the G6...so that was neat lol.

I drove around Harley's Yeti for a little...hmmmm

Awesome time...I'll be there next year."thumbsup"

Looks like a hell of a good time sad I missed it but there will always be next time!

It was one for the books. ..hell I even had Rivas ask me to jump start the G-train. You could of went if you took better care of yours/ Cody tx and rx. Just keeping it real. ..but yes it's a event not to be missed.

Well me and the wrench took off with time to spare. I've lost my phone going on like a week now, before we reached buena vista and realized I thought HE knew where we were going, and HE thought I knew. Long story short, hella lost, 4-wheeling in a Saab, failed attempts at water crossings, washed out roads, stopped and decided to hike in, got rained on. Just stopped and crawled around before headed home. Bogus

Honestly it wasn't bad, got to see some beautiful terrain, we had a bunch of water N snacks so we got some crawling in. I'm down for midweek madness

To bad you don't have a gopro anymore. Now listen here son I'll keep this short. I'm keeping it real not talking $h#*... who here wants a crappy bmx bike that's in pieces on a pile of trash? Second don't get butthurt cause you fried Codys rx and don't have the sack to say you got it wet and then douched in WD40 like it's a dang distributor. I thought you were done with toy trucks anyway..maybe you should because your rc is turning into your 1:1.
