719 Scale RC 4x4 Thread/Trail Runs/Rigs etc..

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there....

Quick night run up by the stables last night and finally got the TF2 back out on the trail."thumbsup"

Ok ladies...I'll just leave this here.

You can bet your butt cheeks I'll be here since I couldn't attend the fest. I know a handful of Denver guys going so let's rep the 719..."thumbsup"

Got my 6 Tomahawks in, yaaaaaay! Also I'm soaking my wagon wheels in "easy off" since I want my F-150 black, I thought black wheels would be too much black.

Well hobby-store-that-must-not-be-named did not have any "wild boar" SCX-10 driveshafts in stock (#1: How do you NOT carry those?! #2: Apparently they have not even heard of them) And only one of the old style, so I installed it, was NOT paying attention while threading in the pin into something that is NOT threaded, snapped the head off my duratrax hex, and now the pin ain't going ANYWHERE without a drill LoL. Got my old Axial ESC installed with a castle BEC, so the servo is faster at sucking (LoL), the new RC4WD servo arm (Which BTW is still not long enough...Why would it be a recommended part then?!) But its running! Minus the sickly servo running good too.

Got the Tomahawks installed (The EVIL Chinese high mass wheels continue to boggle my mind with various manufacturing defects (Different offsets on each wheel, uneven mating surface for the hex, made for a SCX-10 sized hex, but won't fit a SCX-10 sized hex, etc etc) so I tossed 'em on my Tango Down wheels. Sorry Crawlerado, not trying to clone your style. But I remember you mentioning a desire to try other tire sizes, and I am using two wraps of weights in the front, and one in the rear if you wanted to slap them on your rig and see how they fit. Also, the Flashpoints when used on the Tango Down wheels barely rub  . Took the truck to PT this morning for a test run. Love the look of the Tomahawk tires, and they perform better then I expected.

Looks good man! ! Bring that bad boy out Saturday night.
Saturday...Night? I just checked my drawer o' electric stuff. And the only lights I have hanging out are my old drift LED kit. Flashing white high beams at full throttle, flashing red turn signals, and a "Backfire" LED for the muffler I don't have... Miiiiiiight not be scale :lmao:

Lol we will have plenty of lights to light the way for you. I believe I have some 5mm white leds im not using. You may wanna talk to Clayton as well. I know he has a decent amount of leds he may be looking to sell.

Sent from my Galaxy far far away.

Sorry guys I was busting out the new kit....we'll just meet at my place around 630. Bring shoes that you don't mind getting a little wet possibly.
