719 Scale RC 4x4 Thread/Trail Runs/Rigs etc..

Well as some you might know I got permission from my awesome wife to build a "rock garden" in the corner of my backyard. I know I live a few min from Palmer and all, but I wanted to able to test and play without having to leave the house.
So this has been evolving for the past month or so with the addition of more rock and trenches. I have moved all this rock with my little Toyota from either Falcon or Security (Thanks Foothills Landscape) in probably about 7-8 trips. I plan to add more rock/obstacles along with some water features in the near future.

Who says you need a truck??

I hope to have GTG/scale comps during the summer ie: BBQ,Beer and Toy trucks...winning!

So I introduce to you....719-Scalers clubhouse/palyground

If you wanna come try it out hit me up!......I can bring the hose out and make the trenches very interesting also."thumbsup" Course has more lines than Robert Downey JR....

Wanna do some muddy crawling tonight? Lol

WOW... That looks amazing! Wish I had paid more attention to the group (I have a F-250 that is my tow truck, usually isn't doing much) so I could have lent a truck to the rock trips! The race against sunday is on... I am about to peel my masking tape, hope my paint skills are still decent...

Thanks man! No worries on the truck I'm about good on rock after today. Thanks though!"thumbsup"

Is this a different one? So you have this one and the blue one?

Sent from my Galaxy far far away.

Yup, I still have the blue one, this is a different body. Going for a paramilitary / Soldier of fortune kind of look to this one. Used the exact same type of paint we use on our vehicles for paint touch ups... I have some matte sealer / protectant, but I'm not sure if I should use it or not, our paint has no "Clear coat" and thus far this thing absorbs light exactly like it should, and this stuff should be abit tougher then the 'painters touch' I used on the other D90

Crappy weather and no comp.......work on D90 time!

Made a "floor" for the roof rack and some tree/branch gaurds. Now I can hold more crap on top and not have to use glue."thumbsup"

I really think this scaler hobby thing is getting a little out of hand...went full geeky on the d90 and the course kinda. Darn thing still performs awesome given what it is.

And it's just barley springtime..."thumbsup"

Yeah buddy! Me and Mike are planning on rolling out around 6ish. It's a little furthur than Red Rocks and I have to deliver a bridge in time for course setup. Buffalo Creek is a awesome spot aswell..it'll be a really fun adventure run.

Blowing up this thread lol...Well I scored a new body, well old body to me. I picked the DC Bronco body back off of Cody lol. Anyway, slammed some paint on it and cut her out. I was gonna run the white roof panel, but I had to start my venture with the thin sheets of titanium so...

I have a good friend that just picked up a CNC plasma cutter so we'll be manufacturing panels for Wraiths and other buggy type rigs ie: Mattzilla, DMG etc...stay tuned!!
