Didn't raise the body..Guess you missed the lower links because you failed to mention it...Never said I wasn't putting the carrier back on either..This is an old photo actually..Not that it matters.

The build isn't even underway yet and people are already throwing out negative remarks but I welcome it and expect it on here from some.

Maybe let the build happen and watch instead of being so negative because you run a 4s battery in yours and nothing else matters to you.

Youre missing the whole concept...Not about im building something to go to comps with or saying it will be the best...Its a method of adding performance without it appearing it has the added performance..But its ok..i see a lot don't get it and that's fine.
 
I thought I heard something about vanquish axles going into this sleeper build?

I get it just fine, just think it is funny you think you are doing something that comes stock... In Honcho rtr trim, and you think you are making something new. And are really cocky about it. About a rtr.....
 
Where was I cocky about it being an RTR?

Does the word "sleeper" bother you because its being done to an RTR?...you want me to lie and say its a kit and not an rtr??..WIll that make the kit people happy???

Where did I say im building an rtr sleeper to beat 2 thousand dollar plus rigs in a comp? or gave an impression of that for me to be so called cocky about things.????

I think some people are seeing things they didn't read again.

I start a fun build not throwing stones to anyone and again it has to turn into a troll thread because people cant read..Just sad really that mods allow members to destroy threads with BS comments just to start something...That's like someone else going to another build thread and start saying their build is junk and start arguments on it. W(hich I may start doing to some who do it to me).Sad it would be allowed to happen though..I don't recall ever doing this to anyone on here..so i guess it Is what it is.

The whole way you have presented yourself, in this thread, and others, is how I get the phrase cocky.

I never said anything of sorts to make you defend what you have, I said it's revolutionary. I find it funny how you represent yourself and then someone points out something and you immediately take defense.

Where in my opening post does it come off as cocky...All I got was immediate BS hater comments because they don't get it and you/they still don't get it..Without any info at all everyone is assuming they know where im going with this build and I promise you you have no clue as to what im going to do...So I think youre wrong about the cocky attitude and are taking my opening thread as something you feel you already know so trying to knock me off the post and say nothing I will do hasn't already been done and youre wrong about that for the "Sleeper" concept....Only way I can show you where im going with this is to tell you what im going to do ahead of time and im not going to do that...so if you would like to know what I have in store then watch the NEW thread im going to start because this one has gone to the trolls and im not doing it on this thread.

Here you go; know it all rc professionals who have built a sleeper like I will a million times.

What would you say to a Holmes Hobbies BR-XL Esc with a stock axial case sticker on it...Same case and all huh?...must be a stock ESC because it has an axial sticker on it...Sucker!!!!!

RTR wheels/tires...but weighted and re glued...cant see it was done huh..just like any other wheels but most don't do it to stock wheels/tires.
Oh well...guess you wouldn't have thought it..Sucker!!!!!

Aluminum replica of the stock steering set up..Wow; maybe painted black it wouldn't be so noticeable right off hand.

Underdrive gears in the rear axle...Well you cant see the mod so you don't know its there..I mean everything else looks stock don't it?...Sucker!!!

Are you sure I didn't do any internal shock work to make them better...No sorry you don't know..you cant see it...Sucker!!!!!

Did you know you CAN change the timing in a sealed can motor????..Its not an easy task but it can and has been done before...I guess my motor would be stock too..Sucker!!!!!

Not sure about you but I know its no comp rig but will most certainly out perform a stock rig and maybe some with apparent mods... but maybe having someone scratching their heads how it does better than their stock rig or bolt on rig maybe..But you've all done this before so I wont do the build thread now..Didnt mean to waste yalls time with it...Thanks for a great RC forum

I'm getting sleepy too. This thread isn't helping much either.

Maybe "cocky" wasn't the right word. At any rate, the reason why you get blasted is because you are taking mods that have already been done and you act like you are the one that came up with them. You also have the "sleeper" term related so wrong to your Rubi. What you SHOULD be doing is installing a powerful motor and ESC with a high voltage Lipo. Oh wait, sorry, you're the 2S Lipo god and think it is the peasants bread and butter.

Get rid of those stock electronics if you want to go for the sleeper theme.

If I were you, I would stop posting up these silly build threads until you have something very interesting to show/talk about. Also, is there something about the plastic upper links that has more performance to them?? Please tell me, I would absolutely love to read what you come up with....

Tried that once before to end a thread gone bad...Seems its funny for a mod to bring it back for giggles...Not that the laugh was on me...I stood my ground and made a lot of them look like idiots and can still do it if challenged..so no since in deleting it..i want people to see this thread actually..See who the morons are that troll the site for kicks and the mods who allow it...This forum Rocks"thumbsup"

Maybe if I buy vanquish suspension links they will like me and ill fit in.:roll:
