I thought I would start a thread for all of us to post cool event photos in so here is some of mine.
I promised some of you that I would post some crawling/on the rock photos. Sorry to say that this old man was doing good just to carry his radio, water and climb rocks during the event, let alone carry my camera and take photos. So none from me of the event crawling. "thumbsup"
Marcia and I were the first to the site and among the last to leave Monday morning so here is the "Ascender Assemble" camp site.

More to come, I need to charge my computer battery! Be right back.

Some more of our pics. 0900 Saturday morning Drivers meetings/ Show and shine,

Anyone recognize their trucks?

My 46 Power Chris' 79 ford tribute truck.

A view from on a hill a little above the site.

More later!"thumbsup"
Ernie

Ok, a few more pics,

Here is the "Ascender Assemble" guys getting ready for the night crawl.

Some of the crew enjoying some fruit of the vine and Browneye's home brew.

Here we are enjoying a cool portable fire pit that Chris has!!! What would Pro-Line by the fire be without a fire!!;-)

Thanks for starting up a thread Ernie.
Pro-line by the fire was a nice little vacation and it was great to meet some of the RCCrawler community "thumbsup"

Heres a shot I had though came out terrible, taken the day after the event

I'll just link this panoramic so we dont stretch the page a bunch. We rushed up the hill to get a good view of the sunset. Rockhugger is pointing and rambling about something, I forget what and Natedog is father in the background to the left getting his own shots

nice pics lets keep them coming guys i dont get to see alot of this once the event gets rolling as we are so busy

Thanks Ernie for starting this thread and all who have shared their cool pics, I love it!

The shirts look cool too!

Ok, last batch of photos from me.

Some darn nice crawling rocks out there!

Chris getting it done with his little tire 79 tribute truck.

A little perspective of where they were on the ridge.

A couple shots of the horse park.

Some of the Ascender Assemble group out having some fun.

This was a tuff line for everyone to make, good job Oscar!!!

Another shot of the cool rocks we had to crawl on.

This was a face that only a few guys made it up. For this old man I couldn't make the climb my self let alone getting up it with my TRX4.

Nice catch Bill!

MR Chris and his family getting ready to head back to SD.

Their fleet one truck larger.

OK, Sunday evening and we are about the only ones left in the park, so the Four Amigos are headed out to play. (Casey, Nate, Paul, and Ernie)

Doing some testing with my Ascender/Traxxas portal axle truck I built. No tranny, I'm getting my gear reduction from the 2.3:1 reduction in the portals. Also this allows me to mount the motor down close to the frame so the COG and balance on this truck was amazing! "thumbsup"

When I pulled up to this rock I thought, no way am I going to be able to slow climb it. I had No Ascender TT and it climbed right up the rock. ( I may build a few more of these axles and offer them).

Casey testing a COG climb, so the rest of us had to try it.

Paul took some picks while Nate and I were trying it out.

A good photo of the Portals.

Natedog and rockhugger,

Last 2 photos, of the Four Amigos and three amigos and the camp boss. ;-)

Thanks for looking gang, what a great time we had. My hat off to the
Pro-line guys and all the helpers, you put on a great event. It was worth the trip from Oregon! "thumbsup"

Seeing all the pics makes me really want to get out there for the next Proline event.

I asked my daughter what she thought about going out to California to drive tiny trucks. When I told her it would only take 3 days to drive there, she was less than enthralled with the idea. Maybe one day.

GREAT PICS!
i got fired from my own thread for lack of pics during the event hahaha but these are GOLD!
the tiny tire 79 ford that i started calling "the ford courier" was really getting it done! just not fast enough, as i was left in the dust by the more capable trucks very quickly. even my son chewed up the trails easily with his barrage! was very nice on my last crawl to have company of the CMAX 'yota cruiser.
and Casey i don't know if i ever told you what "Shinchu" translates to, but yes i have roots in Japanese "sideways" motorsports ;)

here is my tiny amount of pics, from the tiny tire ford owner lol

SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!
cant wait to go again next year, and Rick, my father in law, should have his own rig by then! (his yeti in the last pic was just not up to the task and had some overheating issues)
Thank you, everyone at ASCENDERS ASSEMBLE camp for making it such a great trip!
and THANK YOU PROLINE!!!!

You didn't, I phrased that wrong, I understand the origin of the name not the translation.

Heres a group shot of some of the rigs

Show and Shine, look in the middle and you'll see the top of the RC4WD Dakar truck that won 1st place even though it was a unmodified RTR :lmao:

And a really short clip was all I got on film

The music was coming from a TRX4 out of shot, it had a little bluetooth speaker running off a smart phone in his pocket, pretty cool!

haha i love seeing pics and video of my rail slide sadly for me i never tested it just built it and set it up for you guys. i had built the smaller 7 foot one last year and after all the cool comments i knew i had to do something longer to add into this years event. i hope you guys can make it back next year maybe i will have to find another spot and add a 3rd one to the event lol

i took one look at that rail, my tiny tires, and my 3D printed grill and said NNNNNOPE! lol

still very cool. my son tried and fell off halfway with his barrage. i missed it but he bent an axle falling off something similar later. thanks to soft Chinese axles i was able to bend it back straight lol

Should call that slide Lions Back from Moab. Referring to the 4x4 that lost the brakes coming down.

that's one of the scariest vids I've ever seen. *shudders*
(if you haven't seen it, here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpbkTncjEOs )
my little ford nearly had a moment like that when the twin hammers 2 speed selector popped out (servo removed because poof) and it started free wheeling! all i could do was steer until it easily got hung up on the front diff, as it did all weekend hahaha YAY TINY TIRES!!!!

oh and yes i agree with Casey about the show-n-shine winner. a STOCK RTR won?! LLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL got it so the formula is something like this: spend a ton of money on a stock truck + assemble it = WIN. i can already predict next year's winner... start saving about $900 if you want that trophy.
