Gramps - TRX-4M Bronco

What about safety wire with a twist or two, heat shrink over that to make it a bit more smoother? It could be removed and no damage from the glue.

Safety wire might be a good option too. The hot glue is easy to remove, put a little alcohol on it wait a bit and peel it off. Will never know it's been there. As far as the braided fishing line and CA I was only going to glue the end of the fishing line.

Well, that works. Key chain ring in 9mm size fits tightly. Got that on mine. Also paper clip steel wire is comfortable to mod with and comes in various sizes.

Nevermind, just realized you already know that.

I could never get the 9mm split rigs on trying both sides.

I haven't posted yet in my thread, but the Walmart rings cut in half with heat shrink so far (knock on wood) have been doing great...in the house. Time will tell out in the real world.

Well, I guess it's up to quality of the steel used in the rings. Mine wasn't too hard to put on. I pried the end of the ring onto the groove and then twisted it on like a screw on.
