2015 RC4WD Scale Challenge Series - Disney, OK (May 15th-17th)

Only 170 miles?
Did 7 hours after the TTC today and 12 more tomorrow......
And I'll gladly do it again next year - HINT HINT HINT

We had a blast as usual, Always great to see old friends, great to meet new ones and place some faces with screen names. Thanks to everyone who made this possible and a HUGE thanks to the sponsors. I've been to a bunch of national comps and this was BY FAR the BEST attendance prizes I've seen, the sponsors stepped up BIG time and we appreciate it. Thanks again!

Awesome time!
Well worth the drive, Disney was freaking awesome and I can't wait for the next one.
I am still shocked at how cool everyone was.
The sponsors definitely went above and beyond.

And DMG set up a bad ass race (even the bucket of mud):lmao:

Had a blast! It was my first comp, and learned a ton. Bringing a brand new rig out with wires still hanging out during tech was interesting. Meet some awesome people and vendors. Prizes were beyond amazing! Didn't expect that at all. Hope the weather around here didn't scare everyone away from coming back. Can't wait for next time!

i dont have anyones facebook or anything to get pics what is the best way to get the pics from this weekends event.

Most of my pics were of the land below and around the spillway. I did get some video of the ttc hillclimb and sled pull though. I'll get those uploaded when I can.

Hogans Unimogs. Got to see the big one in action on Friday.

Rockedup Ricky's Duck. It was a lot bigger than I thought it was.

Looking over a small part of the area below the spillway. There is just a huge amount of terrain there.

A little ravine that is fed by the spillway.

I said it in a previous post but the event was a blast! It was great learning how things are done at a national level event. And getting to meet some of the guys I've talked with here on RCC or followed their build threads, etc. was just awesome.

And getting to run the King of Disney and winning the 2.2 class and finishing 2nd overall to Shane was my highlight. For my first ever national comp, I'll take it. "thumbsup"

Definitely worth hanging around for! I am going through all of my bags I had packed and trying to get my hobby area back into order. It looks like that tornado came through lol!

i guess you had to be there the whole time to get them, i didnt hear anything about it either.

I think everyone there won something.:)

Everybody but Szczerba, but his brother won twice. :ror:

Every competitor got a raffle ticket. Handfuls of stuff were given out with every number called. Some handfuls looked like they were worth a couple hundred $$'s. The prize tables (plural!) were loaded with stuff. They also gave away a Gelande II kit and a 1/8 scale car trailer.

I was one of the last to have their number called, and sure enough, I won some of the prizes I had donated. :ror: They went back to the prize table for someone else though. "thumbsup"
