2015 RC4WD Scale Challenge Series - Disney, OK (May 15th-17th)

Great event, great courses, wonderful people, amazing sponsors. Weather was interesting last night but I'd still hit the replay button on the weekend given the chance.

Now it's time for some 1.9 TTC action! Hopfuly the hillbilly cheerleading squad comes out to remind me to "BRRRRAAAAAPPPPP"!

ALL TTC DRIVERS:

Due to last night's weather we are pushing the start of TTC back 1 hour. We will start at 8am.

On the road to the airport. Will post finals as soon as I can.

My only regret is waiting 8 years to visit Disney. Holy shit that was a lot of fun. "thumbsup"

A huge thanks to everyone involved that helped make it what it was.

After the TTC was over, I made about a dozen passes through and around the mud bog with my C2 rig. :ror:

The Holmes motor and PitBull tires pulled it through every time. The only time it got stuck was when I rolled it on its top. "thumbsup"

A huge thanks to everyone who had a hand in getting this event together from the more than generous sponsors to the staff and judges. It was awesome in a word. Disney and Hogan's are always great. Can't wait for the chance to return.

There's a bunch of pics being posted on fb by various people, most of mine are still on my phone and I'll get those transferred to my laptop tonight or tomorrow and post them up here shortly afterwards.

The comp courses were awesome, I haven't been to any kind of comp whatsoever in 3-4 years, and never to one of that scale. The terrain was just flat out amazing and there is so much land that you could hold comps there for years and never do the same thing twice (depending on how far back you wanted to go). Disney is every bit as awesome as they say, and Hogan is just an all around super cool guy.

Just landed in Detroit. Grabbing something to eat then will post scores. Flight at 9:55pm

Was able to get an earlier flight to get me home an hour earlier.

I'll post at latest, in the morning.
