2016 RC4WD Scale Challenge Series - Disney, OK (June 4th-5th)

Going t o Hobby shop on the way home for hopefully the last time before we leave. Getting the camping stuff stacked up in the garage. Tiny trucks lined up on the workbench awaiting final inspection. And scale sheets getting updated. The wife is getting yummy treats and essential stuff together. Holy cow this got here quick. Oh and did I mention praying for safe travels for all and perfect weather formthe week and weekend? Feels like a vacation.

Sounds like you are ready. HAVE A SAFE TRIP....and fun!!!!

Talking with Chad last night, there is some concern about volunteers. Guys, Chad can't do this alone, even with there being low turnout.

We need people to do:

Tech
Registration
Judging
Setting up/Moving Banners

Please post up what you are willing to do so that he knows what support he will have.

Thanks,
John

John / Chad count me in as a judge or what ever you might need. I am here to have a great time and help make it great for everybody else too. Whatever it takes. "thumbsup" count me in.

Caleb and I are coming down Thursday evening to set up camp. Since this is our first SORRCA event it will be a learning experience for us and we wouldn't feel comfortable judging, but we are more than happy to help with anything else.

"thumbsup"
Poprivet is making me go early, so I should be there Thursday evening or Friday morning. I'll help anyway you need it.

I'm good with judging and banner duty. I can help with registration if needed, too. I'd rather not do tech inspections... just not my forte.

I'll embark towards Disney Thursday morning from Columbia, Tennessee. I'll roll in Thursday evening - it is a nine hour drive (with no stops).

Chad, if you want to PM me you phone number, I can check in with you when I get to Disney.

Hope y'all have fun this year won't be able to make it if you could put pictures on the forum that would be nice it's going to be great!!! (Even though I'm not there) Have a great time y'all!!!

I should be in Thursday afternoon. I'd be happy to help out where ever I can. I'll check in as soon as we are set up.

Lucky goes to the hobby shop and from 50 miles away it cost me $100!
What the hell

Thanks, Lucky for hooking me up with the last minute details and for all your help from the very start of my addiction! If it weren't for you, I'd still have some savings and would be debt free :lmao:

by all means if you guys have comp trucks bring em. I might just throw together a bounty hill run or something similar along he lines 😜

Caleb and I are bringing our Shafty comp rigs. Since there are no activities scheduled for Sunday now, maybe we can get some rigs together for a fun comp? Heck, if ours are the only shafty rigs, we'll even run with the MOAs... we just wanna comp! "thumbsup"

I want to thank everyone for stepping up. Even though it is a low turn out event, I still want to make sure everyone has a great time. The sponsors have stepped up so please make sure you thank them.

Plaques shipped out today...

I've got the moa and shafty rig loaded in the trailer. Camp is semi setup come find me when everyone starts showing up 👍
