2015 RC4WD Scale Challenge Series - Disney, OK (May 15th-17th)

I don't know about that. I finished in 27ish minutes and kept a solid but fast walking pace the whole time, minus the two short attempts at jogging. I highly doubt I was moving 5-6 mph.

:lmao: @ two short attemps at jogging.

I believe Jerry took one of the Razors and rode the course to get that mileage, not 100% sure though who it was.

I wanted to jog, but I also didn't want to get over confident and blow my knee out again. ;-)

You're right, I heard him say that too. The math doesn't add up though. No biggie.

I guess oldcoopdog and I were the only ones who didn't know about the raffle ticket drawing.
I'd love to know how I placed too.

We announced several times to get your tickets. The tickets didn't make the trip for check-in, so we had to buy new ones at Walmart, hand them out.

I asked if there was anyone that didn't get a prize...

I am really sorry, but do remember calling out both of your names, several time...

I know that y'all were waiting on these...so here they are...

i was probably not there at the time i was only there for the comp friday and the top truck challenge and did not know about the ticket thing. il try again next year if i know when it is.

wow what an epic weekend!
got to meet a ton of iPersonalities after after all these years, and a ton of new folks too. Everyone was incredible. The people make this hobby.

no way to thank everyone. all the sponsors, gave away what must have been 20' feet of stuff. everyone went home with more than a handful. thank you sponsors!

and thank you John, Tom, John, and RC4wd. what an awesome event you guys did, and all that you do for this hobby. ive been running your parts, and particularly your tires exclusively since the very beginning. (1.9 mud slingers  )

even with the "Vanessa Williams" pm from John at 7am sunday, given the chance to hit the highway and do it all again tomorrow id do it in a heartbeat. we were the last to leave by several hours both Friday and Saturday.
Such a blast"thumbsup"

Cory

Same with me. I wasn't at the trophy presentation. Next time I'll stay too.

Next year I'll be there. I've got a renewed interest in crawling and am now really wishing I'd made the effort to attend this great event!

My son and I loved every bit of it... hopefully it will return next year, he's looking forward to competing now...that was my first ever competition like that, and I was super nervous since it was such a big event and there were sooooo many people/drivers/builders that I follow on here and admire....if you didn't make it out to this, you missed out big... sponsors were unbelievably generous and the guys who organized and helped put the event on were great as well !! Very friendly atmosphere and full of fun !!! It got me hooked on competing for sure..

They gave away all the goodies at the awards ceremony...which was Saturday evening at 6pm

either way it was an awesome event and my first comp, also my first crawl with any other crawler it was good to compare and see what ideas others had come up with. super great people, i spend alot of time at hogans camp ground but that is by far the most fun time Ive had down there. the courses were thought out and were tough, and watching rick make the mud bog made my family's day.

11th place! That's awesome. I didn't even have a crawler 5 months ago.
If I'm reading the scores correctly I was 1 point from a perfect run on course 2.

I am definitely hooked.

Cool, I was still working on catching my breath so I must of inverted a couple numbers, lol.
