Hot dang we got our own sub-forum!

Well, let me introduce you to my CKP solid axle MT build.

So far, this is where I am at.

CKP Chassis
Hesse Machine Swaybars
Kyosho Mad Force Axles
Mad Force Transmission/T-case
RC4WD Rumbles
Ofna Monster Pirate Wheels

Got alot of fitting and tweaking to do on this.

Just ordered the new transmission, components to narrow the axles as well as lock the rear axle out. Next up I need to get some shocks with some tuning options as well as make the driveshafts.

Will also add that there is also a set of B&H Tires and Ofna Pirate wheels coming as well. Going to trim them down as I doubt I will ever need that much tread lol!

Here is the Transmission that will be going in this truck. I was working on modifying the factory mad force chain drive setup into this rig, but it didn't really do it justice lol

I am going over shock options. Will more thank likely go with a set of ProLine Powerstroke shocks as they are fairly adjustable and I have used them on a slash back in the day.

That t-case/trans is bad ass! I designed one that was similar a while back that uses Berg V2 gears (because they are pin mounted and VERY easy to make shafts for), but by the time I got around to finding somebody to produce the case the gears got harder to find. This design looks killer though, and with all the screws holding the gears together and to the locker it should be just about bullet proof. How long till these are for sale?

Edit- found em... http://www.freestyle-rc.com/

They are already on the market! Freestyle R/C is the manufacturer. Google them and they will come up.

Wow. A drop case like that crossed my mind but the closest I found is a wheely king trans. Had no idea. Can't wait for updates.

This setup is fairly new. I know that there are a few out there that are being installed but don't know of any that are currently up and running. I spoke with them about the durability etc and they assured me that they were tested heavily lol!

Yeah they look perfect for a race monster. Did you already order it? I think I might pick up some of their sway bars.

Id love to see that trans with an input rather than a motor mount so i could use it divorced for mud trucks. Seems the motor mount would be a vulnerability in mud.

Have a set of Super Shafty lockouts on the way. Going to narrow her up a little lol

Rear lockouts, universals for the front and a set of RC4WD B&H tires on Ofna Pirate wheels arrived today! Time to narrow some axles up!

Do ummmm yeah...these axles make an AR60 look like a GM 10 bolt lol!
