1/6 Hemi powered Willys Jeep Hot Rod

Thanks guys for all the great comments. I'll try to update this weekend.
I had to start over on the front suspension, everytime I went to braze on another part, those already one would come lose and move. Changing materials and welding next go around.

This thing is a work of art, absolutely amazing."thumbsup"

If you want permanent, strong and clean joints on the suspension try hardsoldering it.(oxy-ace,filler rod, flux)
Or you can 'flow' them together with TIG.
Tack the pieces together with filler rod to keep them in the desired position and then use the torch without adding the filler rod to melt the two pieces together.

Thanks for the advice. I was able to get it to work with a better heat source.

Update time
I've been working on the front suspension. Here is where it sits so far.
Let me know what you think.

Need to finish the spindle for the wheels and it will be done. More to come.

very impressive
the detail is amazing.
so the big question???????
is this a driver or a shelf queen?

Thanks everyone.
The front end was a PITA to get close. It's not a perfect match to the 1:1 but as always some things need to be adjusted for fit and function.

Update pics soon, front wheels mounted. After Christmas I hope to get the rear axle ordered so I can get this thing running.

WOW, really? Thanks Norm. I know it's been slow progress but it is not on the back burner......only thing on the bench right now.

I have the stance all set, just need to order a Twin Force axle for the rear, only one wide enough to get the wheels outside the tub.

Small update. Front wheels mounted and done.
