Micro street/drift car questions..

I've been looking into maybe getting a 1:24 street or drift car, just something to zip around inside the house. I want to make it a scale build using a model kit. Just not sure what micro rc cars to look at. I would really like to use a porsche body as shown below. I just can't seem to find anything about making model bodies fit onto micro cars, or what chassis to start with. Doesn't have to be the best out there, Just something reliable with a decent aftermarket support.

Any help, examples, or just a point in the right direction would be appreciated.

All I know of are the Losi 1/24 Rally Cars. Their wheelbase is too short for a model and they cost the same as a 1/10 scale. I would love to have a good, cheap indoor drifter as well.

Wow, they do! I didn't realize I could get a 1/10 kit for around that price. With a motor and ESC.

1/10 TT-01 kits are great for the around $150 price tag.
1/18 Associated Apex formerly 18R are good cars.
BRP's are 2wd so harder to drift.

I've wanted a Micro RS4 for a while but wasn't sure they were worth the money. My Losi was fragile and overheated a lot so I sold it.

I'll look into the RS4 a little bit more. You guys have really sparked my interest in the 1/10 cars though. I had no clue I could get into one for those prices. I'm looking at Tamiya tt02 Porsche Kits for $130.
I'd like to throw a brushless system in there and just make it haul ass.

I've seen an RS4 with alot of money in it drift well.
Kyosho Mini Z drifters are pretty good in the house on tile or linoleum.

The real bad ass is the Yokomo ICHIROKU M. I have this one;

I upgraded to Spektrum, Brushless w/ESC and Lipos.
But.......it will seriously leave marks on the kitchen floor.

All the Yokomo Ichiroku Ms are the same.
Super scale and designed after real drift competitors.
They are hard bodies and a bit heavy for their stock power.
There are some upgrades for them but mostly out of Japanese sites.
If you decide to not drift it, it makes a great shelf queen.

the rs4 is a solid car, i have a losi, which may be hard to scale, do they have the rs4 in brushless, or do you have to buy one and convert it?

Guys do use model kits to make mini z'ss custom, but even their 'autoscales' aren't too expensive and they offer quite a few. I think the only guy I know who has ever had one said they might go 10-15 kmh stock, but you can get cheap motors that will get it to 20kmh. I have a losi micro rally, it's fun, but the z sounds better.
