Losi 1/10th Roller

#410...hehehe... This is my first 2.2 and this thing is very well thoughout and put together. I'm impressed, but off to the garage to start making stuff and test driving.
Later all.

Oh 2.2's are tiny compared to supers.......

I was gonna get one of those new grappler bodies but I didn't like how the holes were pre-drilled. I run top mounts.

You mean the new ones, not the ones in the kit, are pre-drilled? I sure hope not! If so, that means I won't own one.

72 pages, looks like the powers that be need to make up a Losi 1/10th crawler section for the forum, for all the cool builds that are soon to follow.

I jump'd on the bandwagon :flipoff:

With so many other things I was thinking about during the project, I have to admit that I missed that one. The first batch for now will have the holes, but I'll see about getting that changed...still may be a while before they're out like that.

HMMM that didnt sound good. We may have to retink the wheel speed thingy, forward inertia vs no free roll on the axles, Braking is gonna be with throttle, No free wheel, NO I AM NOT bashing LOSI its is killer rig and gonna require some serious new skills.:lol:

Typical Race Ready pre-assembly crap. 3 local ones out of 4 had issues. 1 truck missing a front CVD pin....nowhere to be found. Another had a CVD pin missing from a center CVD....same thing, no pin to be found. My left rear shock left a nice large puddle of oil in the box.

Just wish if you are going to assemble the thing for me, do it right:x

Well not that it helps now, but shoot me an email and I'll get you some replacement cartridges. Bummer about the pins too, I went through several samples, but i guess you can't catch them all. If you know anyone else, have them contact me.

oh shit here we go!! There it is!!!

It is not just Losi, it just frustrates me. I am old school and like building stuff, making sure all flashing is off, lots of grease on shock o-rings, things like that. I know it will happen when you have a ton being sold. I don't hold it against you at all, just the concept as a whole.

You need an fx-r. ;)

I will check in a few but I believe there is a setting that can adjust that sudden stop.

Is it wrong that I want to put a Bug body on my new LCC? :?:

hell no, I'd call it 'going up scale'! My bug body is painted and waiting, along with my CAC dune 6's and comp claws. The HH Colbalt 500 is also waiting...

my plan is to show up on Sunday for the comp and sort of 'camoflague' the Losi crawler to make it look like my old SW3 crawler. I want to see how long it takes for anyone to notice!

I lucked out. The LHS called me this moring and told me they got 3 from Horizon this morning as a part of their 'promo package'

I already know how I'm going to set up the DX3i to work the DIG positions, I'm just wondering how to setup the FXR. I'd guess that I don't want any 'freewheel' action, but I could set the drag brake to 'non-existant' so that I'm not fighting the worm gears.

Thanks again to Rich and all of the Losi drivers for all of the updates and the offer for continued support as we figure out how to break the crawler!
