Losi 1/10th Roller

Losi recommends a 17.5 brushless setup... What would be the drawback of running a Tekin FXR/55t combo?

This is a losi 1:10 crawler thread in the tech talk section.

Pretty sure he means sub-forum.

Rich I am very excited to get my hands on one of these. I have owned many Losi vehicles in the past and this one I am sure will rank right up there with the greatest kits you have released in the past. With the design assistance of the greatest crawlers in the world, I know that this will stay true to the Losi winning heritage.

i never saw a answer to this earlier question, will there be a rear free wheel option? if not, wouldnt that be a big hinderance in a comp? im new to the crawling scene, using a ax10 at the moment. but im trying to figure out which rig to go with for competition use. i was trying to decide between a Berg, or Rock Force. now i find that Losi is putting this out, so id like to go with this one, but wondering how bad is it to not have a free wheel option.

didnt see this posted earlier, but will this thing have a rear free wheel option? if not, wouldnt that be a hinderance in competition or is it not used much?

I think thats the recomended because it`s been tested in the truck and you would have a complete Losi power train. I don`t see were running something else would be brawback .

By the way , Good Job Losi !

you simply need a more powerful motor, at the colorado comp a couple of weeks ago jason had his rock force out and burnt up the brushed motor in only a couple of minutes:shock: plus, you would hardly have any wheel speed, I would think

As long as you can gear it right a 55t will work but you're never going to get alot of wheel speed out of one without risking a burndown. Wait and see what the final drive ratio they end up with before making a choice.

Steve

Depends on the gear ratio of the truck . Maybe we will find that out this week .

Worm drive axles that aren't the rock force... I want them!

Sounds like Axial better reinvent their wheel and FAST
