Losi 1/10th Roller

are worm gears as efficiant as ring and pinion? it seams like it would be more work to turn them. compared to ring and pinions.

but lets face facts its still a shafty.

Had I not forgot to put a fresh battery in on my 3rd course at our last comp
(80+ competitors) I would have won with my abacus over a plethera of Bergs.

In fact I do believe that this is the first time a Berg has won in SoCal.

it was the first time, but it is also only the second socal comp that a berg was in"thumbsup"

with that being said, i will definately buy atleast one of these trucks

I'm far from knocking shafty drivers... we have a driver in our club that is unstoppable with a shafty... no MOA can touch him... he will be going MOA next year.... I believe there will be no chance for the rest of us after that... I have see sub-par drivers go MOA and turn there whole game around... "Viva La Shafty"... "thumbsup"

Correct me if I'm wrong but now that shaftys have front and rear dig, lots of pumpkin clearance, and no torque twist from the worm gears, won't they have all the advatages that MOA used to have over older shaftys? :?:

Except that MOA's can run a higher ground clearance and still have a lower COG than a shafty.

Also MOA has the advantage of dual ESC's to run the axles at different speeds.

Noooo Brian not the "I would have won if's" Good drivin btw. If I remember correctly I still had to drive the berg, it didn't win on it's own.

I do like the looks of the crawler and it seems Losi has listend well, I will more than likley get one in the future. I still think shafty's are cool.8)

Yeah I know pitiful huh. Yes you did drive the Berg, well enough to win. "thumbsup"

But you could have probably won with a shafty too. I have seen you drive a few times.

I'm just pointing out some facts to the "Berg is god" crowd. On that note, at the comp before this one there was not a single Berg in the top 15.

I would like to see the 2.2 class split. Then we could all compete in the 2.2 shafty class and the 2.2 MOA class seperately. That would give me an excuse to have both!!!

Well we better ban them or put them in there own class then............just to be fair.:ror:

I think I like these action shots the best. Can't wait to make some of my own"thumbsup"
