Losi 1/10th Roller

Needed to Complete

Basic set-up
• 17.5 T Brushless Motor and ESC (LOSB9553 Xcelorin Sensored 17.5T ESC/Motor Combo)
• 2-3-Cell LiPo (LOSB9865 11.1V 1350mAh 3S 20C LiPo)

Pardon the n00b question: Is there any reason why you couldn't use a brushed motor and NiMH instead of brushless/lipo?

Great, yesterday it was a picture or two and speculation. Today I come to work and open the thread and now there are back orders, more pics, and I need to plan on spending another $1000 for a kick ass rig. Start savin the pennies boys!!!

LOVE THE LOSI!!!

Looks like i will own another shafty, love the high quality this puts off in the pics. Reminds me of my 8ight.

Always have been a fan of Losi's high end stuff. This looks like a winner, a rockin price for what you get.

Great job Losi for stepping up the shafty game.

The decision for a second crawler just got more difficult.
Couple days ago it was a Venom, but this Losi looks like the real deal."thumbsup"

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Right off the bat I want to thank our team guys for their input (in no particular order :) ) , Austin Dunn, Jay Robinette, Jake Wright, Nathan Eells and Brian Jones.
We have a great designer who put all our ideas together and improved on them in one design, so props to him too.
Now, so far in testing it has been pretty good. We have some minor bugs to work out, but luckily nothing to major. We have not gotten them out to all our team drivers yet, but soon they will continue the testing for us.

I've taken some shots on the Carvers and the release date with those tires. That being said, we are looking at late Feb/March release BUT please keep in mind, we are not going to release this Crawler until we are 100% sure it's good to go.

Thanks again,
Rich

EDIT: I should add that Jay Robinette (Rubbaneck) has done some testing and will offer some insight soon

Looks like I will be picking up my first new Losi product.

Yeah me too. I just grabbed a Rock Force too, so we'll see what's what when I can.

AX10, Berg, Rock Force, and the Losi. I think it'll be tough to displace the Berg for having the right tool for the job. But, we shall see, yes we shall.

What a nice truck! I'm a MOA fan but this truck is looking very tempting. Great job Losi! We need more pictures....

Hook us up Rich

THe Mini-Rock Cralwer got me into crawling and now I am totally screwed and and will be hooked. I need one!

Rich: How many testers do you need? Sign me up!"thumbsup"

Anyone notice the brushless motor setup?? ESC on the rear axle?? More new stuff from Losi!

They've had that brushless system out for a while now (about 8-10 months). ;-) But maybe they have a "crawler" badged version with some slightly different software.
