Yeti RR Kit discontinued?

So some people who had the Yeti RR Kit in their Tower Hobbies wishlist got an email notifying removal from their wishlist by Tower Hobbies.

The Yeti RR Kit is no longer listed on Tower, but the RTR still is.

Looks like the only Yeti kit available is the TT now?

According to GP dealer the kit is "on order" as well as the rtr model. I also seen that the rtr style clear body has been discontinued. I am unsure what will happen with the yeti score at this moment.

We will probably have to wait and see what horizon does with axial to really see for sure

I would suspect the entire Yeti line is going bye-bye. Can't imagine they are selling well since they've been reduced/on clearance forever. Since Horizon has the Rock and Baja Rey - both far better handlers - can't see them being around much longer.

Axial Racing - legacy

Not surprising really. Horizon's Baja Rey whoops it out of the box. I still enjoyed mine and think it has a great scale look when driven in the right conditions.

I'm hoping parts will not be a problem as the Yeti is still listed on Axial's site.

As is the Yeti kit, it's labeled as discontinued on axials homepage, here, and is not to be found among their products. The RTR still is though.

Sad to see the yeti discontinued. glad i have one :mrgreen:
we will see how the journey of axial continues and which models they will concentrate under the new ownership
But can be found in several online shops mostly discounted.

And if i look in my spare parts i even have a kit laying there from all the upgrades and parts i purchased in mind of a breakage.
Maybe i build a secound one out of them Yeti the Undead :mrgreen:8)
