xl's on the way

:twisted:i just went with tower hobbies. They arent the best priced but the easy pay makes it easier to convince the boss of big purchases. Just ordered 2 yetis at $375 a month for 3 months. yeti and yeti xl. Cant WAIT!!!!

So I got the dremel out this weekend and this is what I came up with.. this made a difference it hooks up better, with no sway bar its a hand full in the corners now. before I could throttle through it. now it wants to pull the front up quicker.. we ordered some sway bars for a different car will see if we can make something work.. sand paddles will be here Thursday. I have the 24mm hubs done. all fits well.. yeti jr has been put on the shelf for now...

2 of them nice.. your going to have a blast with them..:mrgreen::mrgreen:

ok sand paddles are on. hubs and paddles fit just fine. stock xl tire and wheel are 13.8oz the rear 5b paddle is 15.7oz the front 5b tire is 11.1oz. the sand tires are the same height as the xl tires, so no prob with fitment with this set up..

I was very surprised to see a Yeti XL in the window of one of the Hong Kong LHS's yesterday priced at the equivalent of US$675... especially considering the 1/10 Yeti hasn't appeared yet!?

It certainly is big... although the tyres (I'm English so not a spelling mistake ;-)) are the same size as my 8T the body is much larger and more in scale dimensionally with the tyres. It looks to be taller and wider although I thiink the track width and length wouldn't be much different to a 1/8 truggy.

Sorely tempted but I didn't buy it :-)

I cancelled my order for a yeti but finally got confirmation that the yeti XL is on the way from tower hobbies. I cant wait!!!!

2 day shipping.... Holy ****. If it's anything like tower hobbies, 2 days was an extra $75. For that price, the ups person better deliver the truck, unpackage it for me, and give me a hummer haha.

ok sand paddles are on. hubs and paddles fit just fine. stock xl tire and wheel are 38oz the rear 5b paddle is 52oz the front 5b tire is 29oz. the sand tires are the same height as the xl tires, so no prob with fitment with this set up..
