Got the k3 running on a spring loaded toggle switch with a 2s lipo. Man I burned a fee wires figuring out how to make the motor reverse direction.
It isn't the ideal setup but will be handy in the comps when in a pinch. Have about 5 ft of wire that comes off the radio so just plug it in when needed.
Bought 4 ft will be carried in my pocket.

Back later with a quick video of the k3 going vertical.

Been foam tuning. I do not like the foams on the market advertised for the pits. So I made my own

I do think I prefer the pits on narrow wheels for this chassis

I have the 2.2 pit bulls on my Wraiths with the TSS Versante wheels ,They are not clipped yet ,But you have my interest with yours being clipped ,I am running the Nova CI foams ,There are better than the stock foams I feel mostly for side hills ,,I like your rig! it does look tuff as nails ,,,"thumbsup"

Thanks Robert.

You won't regret cutting pits. They clean way better everyone says the clean good stock but I didn't think so they held mud and turned into marbles on me. Cutting helped on the rocks to. The shoulder lugs are often the first to contact rocks so I opened them up. Seem to pull harder. The center I kinda paddled out.
I cut all rubber. Lol

I'm starting to like the pitbulls. I made the decision yesterday to mount them on my good wheels. I really like there shape on narrow wheels. I've also tuned the center to get more shape to them

Few of her stance.

Links are about level.

Now we wait for part's. This is a maintenance part for me.

A few months ago I got a,3 channel radio and hey Ok 4 amp winch controler. Just installed it and getting ready to test.

Think my rear end must be flexing . Already took out that fairly new set of rear gears. Will swap out and hack on the nose it's just to long.

Been swapping new cases whenever I install a new r&p or locker. Seems expensive at first but chunking gears costs way more in the long run.

Got any recent videos of your rig?

Djjiz
Thanks yeah. I didn't realize I just did gears until I posted on here. I run 1/8 power and have found these gears to be the week link even shimmer and changing pinion bushings alot. I had a few pendleton drinks last night and never got to the gear swap.

I've got quite a few bids but not many of this chassis running. There should be some back aways.

Made a extended out put today. I've been needing one to run bif er then a 56 spur. Pictured is a 60 spur I think. Bern drinking pendleton so bare with me.

Drive Shaft cut to length. I've found female ends never break

Was a good day. Made some repairs and even upgrades feels good

Quick test run on the home brew extended output and bigger spure. I'm digging it. This is a sensor less rig and crawls very well. I now have lots of low gear options with this huge 1/8 scale motor

Strapped on a 4s abd threw some dirt

Cut pitbulls rock in the dirt

Stock they suck

Got tired of the **** bill nose

Oh hi shit I bought a vp part.

My chubs were sloppy bendy and flexy. I saw these vp were clamping and that sold me. Only flaw I see is provided clamping hard where is questionable we there it works or not. The nut is to bug to fit in the recess.

The fit on the plastic axle is tight even before clamping . I bolted hot racing knuckles on them and the fit is dam near slop free. I'm actually pretty dam impressed. The hardware issue is minor as I just rounded off the edges of the nut you fit in the recess.

I also ended up with steering stops because I had to clearance my steering arms to clear the knuckle.

I'm now tempted to get the scale knuckles but as of right now that could be a waste of money nothing is wrong with the hr knuckles.

Could stand it anymore and swapped the tsls back on. Awesome tire but the rb2 has the height and vantage with taxes dragging there's a few spaces were a little more wheel speed is need to pack the axle or bump the belly past a ledge.
