Complete with fishing rod holder, dry boxes, and working rudder.

I also improved the stock paddles. I made a round (stronger) handle using a shiskabob stick.

I think Sam is having a good time...

So 1 response, and 174 views. Whats everyone else think on this build? I respect the massive builders on this forum, and would like to hear their thoughts as well..I am fairly new at this..

That's awesome dude, at least you know if you go into a too deep of a water hole your driver have a back up idea for a way out.

I'm liking it! What did you coat the bass wood with to make the kayak look like it was injected molded instead of being made from wood?

The kit went together pretty well. Quite a bit of trimming and sanding. For the paint I simply used Krylon Dual Paint + Primer for metal, wood, and more. I painted it heavy, then sanded a bit, and gave it a final coat.

Overall this was a great fun kit. I recommend this for everyone. It's only 19.99 at rpp hobby."thumbsup"

I definitely like this build, especially being kayaker who likes to fish during the spring, summer and fall. Really like the scale touches. Great Job!!!
