our next comp is the 18th. but depending the weather it "MIGHT" get pushed back one weekend so maybe. otherwise im sure me and the guys will be out @ the site practiceing that week so give us a shout.

just pm me or something

or checkout aroara.org for more dates thats the local site.

Nothing going on this week as far as official events, but I'm pretty sure guys will be going out to the comp site (McHugh Creek) this weekend. Next comp isn't until May 16th. Feel free to PM me or Tre (akgaunja).

just got back wondering the next time some people are planning on going out. saw some of the pics and would love to make it out there and get some pointers with this addiction.

Be sure to check out www.aroara.org. I try to make sure to post the current events on the front page. Otherwise, check the forums on the site. You can always contact me to find out as well. My contact info is on the website.

yeah i saw that the next comp is the 14th of june but i have a auto-x to go to that day so i get to race for real. plus i dont think i am any where close to being able or ready to compete

If anyone goes out to McHugh, they usually post up in the forum. I highly recommend participating in a comp though. You'll learn what needs to be improved on much faster and see how others have their stuff set up. It's a good time regardless of whether you finish first or last.

was thinking about headiing out to mchugh on monday or tuesday next week no too sure where you guys go to wheel when you are there either. i think i know where it is but want to make sure thats off the seward hwy correct?

Yup. Just head south on the Seward Hwy and you'll see a sign and a parking lot on the left. The rocks start right by the Park Host's motorhome above the upper parking lot.

Sign up over at the local forums. Much more traffic there if you're looking for people to go with.

new to crawling

Really digging the trail crawlers. Bought a scx10 and man already have quite a few rocks in the shop. Looking for fellow crawlers that would like to put something together in the valley. Have a 36x36 shop thats warm and dry. If someone has some what of a portable track, or wants to come construct one here always up for a new adventure. Thanks

A greeting

Hi guys,
Been lurking all kinds of forums for a great deal of time, serious scale RC sailplane type but getting back into surface recently with my teenage son in crawlers, Scorchers (we do have allot of beach here) and hardcore scale all by our lonesome (?) down here in Homer. Wanted to say a big howdy and hope to drop by some of the future events and get to meet some of you all. Looking forward to injecting ourselves into the "scene". Best to you and yours these holidays,
