okay. so today i was on ebay and i searched traxxas. ive done it before and ive never had a problem with it. it takes me to the page for a half second and then it goes to a page that says

<TABLE border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD>Fraudulent Web Page Blocked
</TD></TR><TR><TD width=647>
You attempted to access:
traxxas | eBay

This web page is a known fraudulent web page. It is recommended that you do NOT visit this page.

For your protection, this web page has been blocked. Visit Symantec to learn more about phishing and internet security.

what gives?
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

It's telling you to quit using Feebay!

EDIT: I tried it and I had no issues loading it, but I don't use Symantec. I'd say that something that's linked in one of the auctions has been flagged by a Symantec user as shady.

i clicked continue anyway because ive never had a problem with ebay ever. but i cant get the message to stop showing up

It's going to do that until Symantec deems it safe for your viewing pleasure.
i sent them an email asking what the hell was going on. they said they were going to see if it actually is safe and they would let me know once a determination is made.

Weird, couple of the guys on Model Cars Magazine's forum had that same issue today, only one is using Nortons for his AV, not sure about the other guy.

Here's one theory on what happened by somebody over there"thumbsup"
It seems to be a conflict with the Online Banking and Shopping protection in Ad-Aware.

my dad told me i probably had a virus. so i did a malwarbytes scan and a norton scan and it found nothing. i didnt really know if it was a logical reason so i scanned anyway. now i know that it's not only me having problems.

same thing on all the computers in my house. my dad's theory is that ebay got hacked and it's fawking everything up and norton sarted to catch on to it

I don't know if this is it but ebay has been messing with how the search results show up. Is it with just traxxas or any result? I cleared my history and it went back to the old search results.

Same message here. I dont know if its Symantec trying to sell me something or if its really a problem. I do think its just a matter of time before ebay and/or paypal are hacked and bank accounts start getting emptied or everyones personal if is hyjacked. Its in the news everyday.
