What did you do to your TRX-4 today?

I tried stuffing a set of Pit Bull foams in my Canyon Trail tires. Unfortunately, Pit Bull sent me 4.75's instead of 4.5's for the front so I was out of luck. I couldn't get the SSD wheels I bought to mount with the new foams installed. Basically, it was an epic fail all around!

I got the Bomber interior painted and installed into my Sport body. These interiors fit really well in most truck bodies. I have used them in all of my trucks.

I flipped my bumper mounts to get some extra clearance on the approach and departure. One outing and they had already been pretty well banged up.

Damn, B-MOW71...

You knocked that interior outta the park!

Best painted Bomber interior I have ever seen.

Almost makes me want to send you mine and some cash - but I just can't abide dealing with an interior on my Bomber.

Gotta agree with everyone, GREAT WORK Brian!! That interior really sets off that Sport's awesome paint job! "thumbsup" Truck's lookin' even better now that it has a few scratches. :lmao:

Thanks guys! I appreciate it. I think Traxxas needs to design an interior something like this for the Sport body. It fits really good in there and completes the look of the body.

I need an interior like that for my version of the sport - the Proline 66 FJ40. It needs to be more traditional though, as my Bomber version, while not used in my Bomber, is a little too 'racy' for the vintage 'yota. Anybody got any suggestions? Maybe try Proline's interior? I've not seen what that looks like, but I see they just introduced a racer one like the Bomber's.

This isn't exactly what I did "TO" my TRX-4, but "FOR" my TRX-4....

I made a new stand since the old RC stand I had from the racing days didn't work to keep the wheels up off the table. I made this from scrap steel I had laying around my shop. Fit it so it locks into the bumper.

I got the Sport put back together. I re-greased the trans and axles and added a servo winch. The Sport and I will be headed to Beat The Creek 2019 in Kentucky, USA next weekend. Looking forward to having a blast!

took my truck for a drive. I went to this spot called Dutch Hollow where i used to mountain bike about 3.5 years ago. For some reason i remember it being a really rocky, technical climb on the Mt bike, but i must have just been out of shape(and just moved from sea level to 6500’) because it was smooth single track. Needless to say, i didnt get on too many rocks but the views were nice:

Cacti were the biggest obstacle:

Did a shock overhaul. Cleaned everything, modified the spacers for more freeplay, lubed xrings, went with lighter 17 oil down from 30, and am trying softer rear springs (running whites all around.)

Trying to design a roll bar for the sport the old fashioned way by hand. Lol. It will come to me soon and everyone will have a awesome roll bar.

I like it looking good so far this is the roll bar on my TRX sport. It's hard plastic but it will work for now. [emoji106]
