What did you do to your TRX-4 today?

3D printed a low cg battery tray in a carbon pla. Lowers the battery a good amount.

What is your runtimes, pinion and spur, and motor?

Haven’t tested it yet. My spur and pinion are stock. I need a body to get run times. Still a clean truck hasn’t seen a rock yet. Will report back when I get her out there.

Been doing some oil jug inner fenders for the Nukizer body.

Getting the fronts done now. Don't know if I'm going to do full rears tho. Maybe just enough to hold a strip of LEDs. Don't know if I wanna take that time. Got nukizer truggy on the brain

I need opinions please,
so once the engine kit comes in i wont need the holes on the hood anymore, im planing on sealing them however that gray paint is tricky to find so i thought maybe if i sprayed it black it'd look good heres a render of how it would look, let me know what you think?

You can do as I did and punch some grey lexan discs from behind the radiator and glue them inside the holes.

If you want to paint the Tamiya PS-63 is very close, but definitely colder.

i might punch holes from behind the radiator so use Liquid Plastic Welder, well see how i feel about the paint.

You could do the roof and hood in black, a popular factory paint scheme for Defenders...

Well, still waiting on Spring to get here! So while I wait, I made a license plate and got it installed.

Also, bought a DSM Offroad V3 Self Recovery System. Haven't had a chance to try one of these yet, but I have seen them in action and have heard good things about them. Hoping to try it out soon!

Really digging your rig bro! Looks great! I don't have the DSM strap, but made my own for very cheap. It works amazing! Allot faster then a winch. Not very scale tho. I wanna see someone with a 1:1 crawler stretch out a big bungee strap to help pull them up a climb. LMAO! Wonder if you would get winch points in a comp for using one??? Used mine in this video https://youtu.be/k5ZJJ00XUDE

Hey, thanks Justin! Nice video and nice hidden gem you have found. Looks like the strap does work great. Much faster and uses a lot less battery! No, not very scale, but I figured it would work until I get a winch installed.

I saw a few guys using them at the last G6 comp I was at. It looked like the worked fairly well. Not sure about winch points or if they are just considered a tow strap. I'll have to find out at the next comp I go to.
