What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

I started wrapping last night. This was the first time I tried applying vinyl on an RC body. As you can see, there are some rough spots wherever two pieces of vinyl meet. I hope with some dirt and some wear, it won't be as noticeable.

I still need to reattach the three other fender flares. In the movie, they are painted to match the body scheme, but I'm thinking of leaving them black. I'm going to paint the rims red and the rollcage brown. I need to figure out how to make the interior look less fake.

Axial 11.4" link kit showed up. Had to shorten the drive shafts cuz I couldn't find the shorter ones that came in the box until after I got it back together DOH! Gained a little more flex but I can now see some trouble areas. the front steering links hit the from with the left front tire full tucked and now that the wheelbase is closer to what the body is I have to trim a little of the body rub but all in all very happy! Oh yea I set it up for the 4 link in the front.

got the body mounted on my moms scx10 I gave her for Xmas. Pic in the back shows the race truck of my dads it's modeled after. She LOVES it.

I have the main electronics working. Waiting on some cheap light sets in the mail. Then a light bar on its own battery probably. That will be later, though. That front ring and pinion is loud. I think I need to address that.

I will set up the BRXL when I get some wheels on this. No use of hooking up to computer when I can't drive it around

The heyok winch controller is awesome. It would be better on a 3 position auxiliary channel but I will learn the flipping of the switch soon. The fair lead is very wide on this winch

Tested tires for another vehicle that I'm building. They are a bit too big for this one. They work awesome on slow snow crawling.

Sorry for the crappy pic but the zoom on my phone is not very good.

I didn't do anything today but yesterday I did a full tear down of my scx10 to replace some parts that were broke/ damaged in a nasty tumble off a 8-10' ledge and about 75' of Rolling down a hill. So new axle housing , replaced the frame ( old frame had a to be knotched and when a weld on the bumper broke it tweaked the chassis at the knotch I tried to straitened it then it snapped so o bought a new chassis. Replaced a few bad bearings. New grease in the diffs , and tranny , once I get a change to goto my buddy's I'll get my bumper and part of my cage that the welds broke on tacked onto place again and it'll be 100%.

New 8 hole beadlock wheels and mickey Thompson Baja claws tires along with weights and ci foams. Also changed the transmission from 48p to 32p. The tires and wheels made my son's dingo come to life.

Took my brand new Deadbolt, tore it completely apart and installed the following:
-RC4WD 2 speed, had to flip the transmission around so there was space for the battery on the howler customs battery/electronics plate I also installed
-Vanquish 12.3 titanium links and CMS with panhard
-Castle SV3 ESC, Hitec HS5646WP servo, RC4WD 35 turn and my Airtronics RX
-Axial Rigid Light bar and HO light controller
-Proline deadlocks and 1.9 super swampers
-Stole the Icon shocks from my F250
-Installed aluminum knuckles, C-hubs and lockouts

Lots more to do on this truck.

Went for my 3rd drive - had to see where the heck I was from the previous pitch black night

Toykid how do you like those tires.. i got a set for mine but have yet to do any real wheeling since everything is covered under many feet of snow.

Love them, they work great at my local spot. On par with the Axail BF Krawlers I had fitted before, but have less sidewalk flex than the BF's (which is a good thing).

Can you take a picture of the front end? How did you get the cms to fit with the high steer knuckles?
